PvP ruins the game for me. I invest a lot of time searching for blueprints, gathering materials, upgrading my gear, so I can progress in the game. And then someone shoots me in the back and takes all my stuff, and I've lost hours of work invested in creating my gear. That's not fun for me. Other people are having fun at my expense, and I can't abide that.

GOAT

BUILD YOUR BASE AS CLOSE TO WATER AS POSSIBLE. You will be sailing the oceans a lot, you will be bringing iron and other ores back to your base for processing. A boat is the only way to transport ore. Your base is where you process the ore. If you build your base far from water, it will be a royal pain the a** to get that ore from your boat to your base.

and read an online guide before starting to play, the in-game tutorial isn't very good

a bit short, and a bit buggy, but in spite of this I really enjoyed this game

Better than Pillars of Eternity

Fun gameplay, nice graphics, charming story, solid game, did not experience any bugs, good performance on an old machine.

Of all the 100+ games in my library, this game has the most hours played. In my opinion this game defines the survival genre.

Not yet ready. Needs a lot of work

Ubisoft Uplay installation required to play, which is lame. That is my only complaint about the game.

Valiant Hearts follows a storybook style side scrolling narrative. Cell shaded artwork is nice. Best story of any game I've played this year. Puzzles are challenging without frustrating. Voice acting is very good also.

For the price you can't beat it.
