Early Access Review
Lakeview cabin 2 has very engaging combination of puzzle and horror elements. The typical idea is figure out what tools you have access to with your cast of 4 characters and survive against a variety of enemie. The addition of coop adds a lot to the value of the game, figuring out new things and working together works very well with steam remote play or parsec if you don't have someone at home to play with. The splitscreen functions in a way that both players maintain a smaller but same ratio of screen area. The developer made the choice of limited to no text in game letting the game world speak for itself, which can make things a bit complicated (such as no tutorial) but it works well for its puzzle elements. Do note the game is early access so there are some bugs (like camera bugging out if you die as you load into an episode, that rope swing trapping the character, or just losing the ability to pick up items) and some improvements could be made like hit detection and response. Overall it's a great addition to the lakeview game series and I can't wait to see more, especially recommended if you have a friend to play with.

Played the game back at launch back then the only end game content was nuking and farming legendary enemies which got old quick, stopped playing after a week until the scouts update which seemed to be the start of real content updates. Currently it's a lot better in its current state with a pretty good gameplay loop with some rewarding goals like gold bullion rewards and daily quests that make it feel like a proper mmo. Wastelanders on its own is a great addition to the game with around 10 hours of high quality quests along with filling the world with npcs that make it feel more alive, but it may not be enough if you didn't at least tolerate 76 before, hopefully they keep up this quality of updates going forward. Overall if you hated fallout 4 you will hate 76 if you liked fallout 4 you will probably like 76 especially if you have friends to play with.

without mods, the pc version is worse than console version, especially since we still have a hacker infested multiplayer
