This game has it all, the fishing minigame, the drawing minigame, the input direction minigame, the put the cross in the spot minigame, the burning incest minigame. If you like minigames this is the mega game for you

Perfectly serviceable ubisoft slop box. You roll around Bolivia with AI that never seems to be there until you get gunned down by a sicario. The game play is certainly there but you can do better for both stealth and combat. Story is really all over the place. None of the dozen buchones were interesting enough for me to care about stopping them. Main villain is clearly set up to be this imposing force but really never comes across as interesting or intimidating, The only thing not flat in this game is the mountainous landscape. Grab it on sale if you're a fan or have 10 bucks to burn.

Honestly I don't see the hype. I played through every route in the main game and I was expecting some deep complex meta narrative but was left disappointing. Ultimately, this game is held back by its own presentation. The characters are shallow cause what else could they be considering the structure? You don't spend any extended periods with them and once the big thing(tm) happens the game is so quick to bombard you with "spooky" moments that it becomes almost a punchline. If you want a spooky experience you can do worse but I personally like visual novels because of the focus on character writing and story and it really lacks in both. Give it a read if you have a couple hours to kill but free really is the perfect price for it. (I still bought it so what does that say about me?)

Daughter of Shadows : An SCP Breach Event An Underrated Masterpiece?

Never before has game captured the true feeling of oppressive horror in such an unsettlingly realistic tone. Daughter of Shadows, developed and produced by indie company Blackrose Industry is what can only be described as an audacious power move into the horror genre. This hitherto unknown company has managed to make something that even professional publishers backed by millions have been unable to do in the past decade. Daughter of Shadows manages to deliver an atmospheric horror experience which rivals prolific titles such as Silent Hills 2 or Amnesia: The Dark Descent.

This game does away with the tired practices which have saturated the horror genre. In a bold and inspired stroke of wisdom uncommon from such a generally inexperienced developer, you play as an SCP. This, of course, is rare that you play as what would normally be the antagonist and proves to only heighten the sense of horror that the player feels as they are still susceptible to the guards and their fellow escaped SCPs. The designs of the enemies encountered are innovative as well. Such artistic interpretation of the SCPs and has never before been seen in the history of gaming. The only problem I have with the designs are that they almost distract from the beautifully constructed levels. Following the theme of innovation which permeates throughout this masterpiece, the the levels are an almost maze like series of laboratory hallways and containment areas. This makes the player uneasy as they traverse the halls and gives a never ending feelings of anxiety as the next door may lead the player face to face with patrolling guards or a dangerous SCP which may be their demise.

Like the works of H.P. Lovecraft, Daughter of Shadows: An SCP Breach Event, isn't for everyone especially those who lack the mental fortitude to truly grasp the themes and ideas presented in this work. Despite this, this value of this game is the future potential for growth and refinement for this fledgling developer. I eagerly await their next work.

Early Access Review
In terms of first person shooters paladins does the two core things right. It has shooting. It is in first person. However, is this truly the mark of a great first person shooter? When first getting into this game you may feel hesitant after realizing this a DOOM (1992) clone. After playing it more I realized that this game may be slightly different than DOOM. Other than having more than one guy you can play Paladins also offers next to no story or lore for its characters. Then again if you play fps' for their story then you are probably casual scum and should go back to playing mobile games. What makes Paladins truly great is that it's free and has micro transactions. This is a feature that all games should have and at least Paladins isn't +$30 and still asks that you pay more money ingame. While I recommend this game I feel that it's current state is some what of a mess. For example they've released about 30 new champions yet not a single female robot or lobster themed one. While I know Hi-Rez is catering to a much larger audience I feel this game will go no where without some sort of sports ball game mode. So if you like lobsters and sports ball this isn't the game for you.

Most may be wondering if they should play Bad Rats, but the real question is: Are you ready to dive into the imersive experience that is Bad Rats? After playing this game for about 30 minutes, it took all my will power to pull myself away from this game inorder to write this review. Thus far in my Bad Rats journey I have already achieved spiritual enlightenment. This beautiful, under-priced visual stimulant is truely the game of the century. Be prepared to lose yourself in this expansive world as you explore the hidden lore of this timeless journey to kill cats. Alot of deep themes are expressed through this game. If you are faint of heart or bravery, do not play this game. This game is only for the strong. If you are willing, Bad Rats, will reward you. Friends will be jealous of your massive high score, woman will want to be with you, men will want to be you. If you truely believe that you, yes you! Are ready for the experience of a lifetime, then pay the minimal price of 20 cents and your time. It was well worth it.
