Always have been a fan of tower defense games.

This one has all the right ingredients :
- Different blocks you need to piece together in a maze
- Power up spots which offers reward for risks in maze building (They always seem to be just off the perfect spot)
- Different towers
- Talents and ability combos

And of course, replayability!

This is definitely....an Overwhelmingly Positive game.

Yes. It is everything the Overall Rating says it is.

Another Tower Defense game in the traditional sense.

I've waited until I logged 100 hours on this game before posting a review.

It's a good take on the genre and a great casual game. Easy to pick up. Each game lasts a few minutes.
At the core it is still a collectible card game, with some strategy on how you construct your deck based on the cards you have and then pilot the deck. Don't feel obligated to sign up for newsletters for gifts, you don't have to.

Good game to play as a free game? Absolutely. If you like the gameplay and want to spend some cash to support the Devs, then I would recommend you read some guides on where to get the most bang for buck. Otherwise, it is perfectly good as a quick game in between daily life stuff or more serious games.

I like the game for what it is.
I am not interested in video game publishing. Or the decisions game companies make. The only thing that matters is, after 25 years, here we go again on the adventure of a lifetime.

Let's not let the ongoing debate in the game industry get in the way of what we love. Just enjoying games.

Waited until this point before giving an opinion on the game.
I've put in 200+ hours at this point in time. Yes it is good.

Since launch on the 28th of May 2021, I have played this many hours.

I have played the game on Epic a year ago and opted to buy it again on Steam, if nothing but to support the Devs.

Was wondering if I should pick up from where my Save File was or start a new campaign to get myself familiar again.
I just tested the new campaign tutorial and there were some scenes I do not remember seeing before.

Yup, will be starting it all over again.
For a game you love, that is not a bad thing.

Really fun game, would recommend.

You will see a lot of negative reviews on hacking. I can attest that starting a couple of days ago, I started seeing a massive decline in hackers. Previously there was one in every game, now I haven't seen one in 10 straight games. Good job by the devs. They are still rolling out more stringent anti-hack measures, so there is every reason to support them.

Makes me hesitant to even start up the game as it takes almost 10 minutes just to load up the save point in the game. Load times to start a mission, load times at the end of missions, load time in between.

I love Battletech, but I find myself NOT playing this after a few goes.
