Forza series have a Steering Range lock system making cars understeer on purpose. It's an unspoken problem that will NEVER be resolved.

"Turn10 uses "control filtering" which decides how far you can steer, at what speed you can do so, and where it will allow you to do it- and it is broken on many tracks & cars. Certain cars (like the 2nd gen camaro) will never get full steering sngle unless you either a) almost come to a stop, or B) use a wheel."

Edit: Tried forcing myself into it until HotTrash "Hotwheels" DLC.

Rating: -★/☆☆☆☆☆ (-1/5)

If you’re a serious driver, someone who values racing lines, tuning, and performance — Hot Wheels DLC will insult you.

This is not racing. This is an arcade-on-rails stunt park with all the visual noise and none of the discipline. The entire expansion feels like it was designed by someone who thinks "speed" means "wallriding through toy loops while your car defies physics."

If you're a driver, not a stunt clown — avoid this DLC. Better yet, avoid the game. They broke the clutch and they don't intend to fix it.

Don't expect amazing graphics or innovating gameplay. It's a game to play on pure nostalgia. It's Deus Ex gameplay but with decent graphics. It's a fun SINGLEPLAYER game. Robocop would approve.

Don't waste your money on this. They are ending the festival on august 22nd 2024 and aside from that, bots are bad. Stories are meh. Racing is a joke. If you can endure Brits, the voice casting is not so bad but if you can't, tough luck, they will break your ears in cringe. This game overall is NOT A RACING GAME. It's a sandbox of cars in the middle of fantasy britain. Horizon 5, to my knowledge, is in the middle of fantasy mexico, which is not better. Horizon 6 may be in Japan so I'm personally skipping 5 and wait for 6. I want a racing game and maybe you are too so if Japan is as much of an influence on the racing scene in real life, maybe it will influence Horizon 6 to be more racing focused and less towards shenanigans and idiocies.

Tuning is weird and sometimes inconsistent. Not enough bodykits, especially widebody kits, for most iconic cars. That's all I gotta say. People had fun with it cuz they got it earlier. I got it late and it's not as much fun. So lesson here, get Horizon as early as you can? I'll try that with 6 and not 5.

Edit: Oh, and you can't sell cars aside from the auction and its broken economy of "everyone who got it early has a ton of money and all the cars". So If you buy this game like I did, good luck having enough to buy a 10,000,000 car. Super wheelspin is the main money maker and if a dev is reading, please remove wheelspin and replace it with super wheelspin. Let everyone have a shot at getting everything.

It's fun but I wish they had more weaponry variety.

It's a brainless addictive game. I highly recommend it.

The game is great until Act 3 where the story is all over the place and when Act 4 hits, absolute garbage. You're forced to kill a character and have it replaced with a squid person. It's not Karlach. It's not Orpheus. It's not whomever you chose to become a squid. The larva outgrew the host from the inside-out making a "carbon copy". I wish I knew this before playing hundreds of hours, restarting over and over again cuz of how broken Act 3 is, to get to Act 4. Oh look I rolled a nat 20 and Larian Studio does what? Abuse DM powers. What's the point of dice rolling if we're skipping anyways to a lousy cutscene?

Edit: They fixed some stuff in Act 3 but some loose ends are still there. Act 4 is too short. It'd been better if we had to rescue the allies before unlocking their support to attempt to reach the netherbrain. The game seems unfinished and rushed towards the end.

It's about 40 hours of gameplay for one playthrough and despite having tried to explore everything, I am sure there are some things I've missed.

Early Access Review
Pros:
- simple and intuitive, easy to start playing
- super easy on the computer = low-end pc requirement
- customizable characters and weapons
- maps are big and diverse. lots of destructible elements.
- No Electronic Arts meddling

Cons:
- unlocking weapon attachment and customization is a grind fest cuz it's kills per weapon and not class nor type of weapon
- huge gap between new player gear and veteran gear
- only twitch and discord support, no kick support
- some hackers but not enough to ruin the fun

I can't wait to see what they'll do with this. I won't even be mad if they did a battle royal mode. I hope they do a futuristic reskin called BattleBit 2099 or BattleBit WW2 with artillery strikes.

Edit: update on the hackers things, play during working hours Monday to Friday. Best time with little to no hackers. But at night and week-ends, forget playing. Too many hackers.

Here's my advice to devs. Increase the game price and instead of banning the cheaters, place a flag on them that can be seen through walls.

Grim Dawn is what Diablo 3 should have been like. If someone sold me Diablo 3 before its release and threw me a copy of Diablo 3, I would have believed him. The only thing that's missing is the Blizzard icon and its cg cutscenes but who really cares about those other than a Blizzard fanboy? It's better BY FAR than Diablo 3. If you love Diablo 2 and you don't have Grim Dawn yet, you are missing out. GET IT NOW!!

Content is good and the MikeForce server could be entertaining but there aren't many good servers that are populated. Some people will mention Bro Nation server but be warned it is PvPvE which only their private circle is allowed to play as OpFor, after Patreon donations, with many cheat-like abilities like teleporting to an AO, spawning tanks, getting help from their zeus buddy, and rolling over immediately after being downed..., as their purpose is to grief BluFor.

The DLC doesn't have a true single-player campaign as they're mainly COOP missions and the multiplayer servers aren't very populated with very poor performance, server-side and client-side. Buy at your own risk.
