Sins of a Solar Empire ('Sins') is an interesting and fairly unique RTS (or RT4X, as the developers would say). Though not the first of its kind, Sins blends together real-time combat and unit management with a fairly detailed (for an RTS) empire management system. The scale of the game is impressive, with maps stretching out across numerous planets (or rather, the space around them) and systems, all linked together by a web of hyperspace lanes. For fans of real-time strategy who are looking for something less micro-intensive and grand in scale, Sins is a worthwhile game to look at.
