Pretty awesome little game to chill out too on a second monitor. I work from home and it is often a pretty lonely experience (as many of us know)... so I just let the game run while I work some days. If you like lofi it is perfect to just LISTEN too and mess with the mini games during a break. Love being able to pick out the outfits and the currency grind is very generous when you get your pets going/room upgraded. Plus the time keeps when you are offline (like when the game isn't open). So when you fire it up the next day there is plenty of money just waiting to buy new clothes or upgrade your animals... or get new room decorations (the decorations also help you get currency). I think there are 4 rooms in total? So as you advance through the story you get to sort of start over at a new location which keeps things interesting. It has chill vibes and we all need a little bit of that some times. :) Do recommend.

I'm new to the game as I didn't play it back in the day. I don't know all the tracks or have the muscle memory but I can echo what some other reviewers are saying in that this game can be pretty challenging. However, once you hit that sweet sweet flow state it is pretty fun. Your mind becomes the car and toggling the colors becomes your ultimate survival instinct. I often times found myself trying to get in an extra flip here or there for style and then instantly regretting it.

Great game with a good story and outstanding cinematography.

I played the demo of this a while back and was happy that I was able to pick up right where I left off on launch day. Really love all the robots and the camera work is outstanding! Once you get the scooter things zip right along. Do recommend if you are needing a feel good style game. The game feels like a sci-fi version of A Short Hike and I really really dig that. You also get to use a little brain power in solving (fixing) the different facilities and items to progress the story.

Played this for a couple hours and looking forward to more. It is your standard point and click adventure game with a little added twist in how the narrative plays out. You bounce between the friends playing a table top D&D of the game you are playing with point and clicky parts. I thought that was actually pretty cool. I don't think I've played any adventure games like that. It is a heck of a way to build the characters up and tell the story. The sound could use a little work. The effects and "voices" of the characters feel like they were just dropped in and really need to be remastered so adjust your audio levels accordingly. That was the only thing that really bugged me. Other than that you are a wiggly waving not inflatable or tube man, cat... who is out on an adventure. Also, ghost chicken.

Been following this game for a long time! I double purchased it on other platforms. So I am happy to see it finally officially here. The Adventure Pals is wholesome and fun. You don't see that much these days outside of Nintendo titles. This is an exciting little platformer that can be good for long or short sessions. The art is beautiful and the little details can have you staring at scenes over and over just to spot them. Think, "Behance portfolio meets Where's Waldo."

There is this "adventurous fun" part of being a kid that we all struggle to hold on to... we find it in our games sometimes. You'll find it here.
