Everyday that I go without embracing you in my arms is a day that my soul dies a bit more. I long for the days of the past, when we were together. When I could lay my head back into your lap, you would stroke my hair and we could sit at peace, simply enjoying the company of one another. We both knew it couldn't last but hoped for a miracle. I long for those days and promise that one day we will be together again.
