Still fun and despite other reviews I had no gamebreaking bugs or cheater. There is absolutely no pay to win and you can play every gamepass and choose later to unlock the premium rewards.
Looking at other PvP Games this day Chivalry 2 stands out. Its sad that there are no more updates.

First of all it has so much potential!
At this point the game feels unfinished. So the low fps are anoying, the advantage of humans against aliens seems espespially in the late game unfair. But thats all what i dislike.
There is no ingame shop (not common for games these times) and it feels refreshing. This concept of combining FPS and RTS is well made and makes a lot of fun. Even more with friends. One is Commander, and the other can scout, take over tanks or even the huge harvesters. It gives lots of possabilities to act in FPS.
And the alien bugs are such a differerence to the human factions and are fun to play as well, and in mid game so strong. But in late game they can not counterattack rocket launchers.

So I can absolutly recommend this game to groups of friends

I can no longer recommend buying this game. The concept is still great, and I find the basic gameplay very well done, but it's still missing too many features. In RTS mode, you quickly feel the lack of important content. Why aren't there shortcuts? Why do you have to zoom in on unit groups to select them individually, and why do you have to click on the HQ every time before you can build more structures?

The FPS mode is fun, but it's also lacking in so many ways. Why do I, as a human, always have to go to this terminal before I can teleport? Why not just use the regular map?

What I miss most, however, is matchmaking and ranked games. There's no point in playing. Private servers are simply shut down as soon as the host realizes they're losing. Even in dedicated or self-hosted games, players just leave in the middle of a match. I'd love to play with my friends as a team against another fixed team and see who's better, without players switching teams, leaving the game, or just shutting it down entirely.

Additionally, the game Silica is dying. The player numbers have been declining for months. There's a lack of long-term motivation, and that's really a shame, because the game has so much potential.
