Hades II takes everything great about the original and turns it up a notch. The soundtrack is phenomenal—easily one of the best in any roguelike—and Scylla absolutely steals the show every time she appears. The game lets you choose your tempo: play in a relaxed, story-focused way by keeping Nightmares low, or crank them up for a brutally satisfying, hardcore challenge. Either way, it’s a fantastic experience that keeps you coming back run after run.

Immersive city and the story is really great as well.

However the borderlands style looter shooter with RPG elements does not work that well :(

It's pretty basic JPRG with turn based combat, and exploiting enemy weaknesses. The game has some grinding too. Some bosses just require an upper levels, or some special skill for Persona. Personas are like pokeons, you gotta catch em all.

The story is like an interactive anime, and it's really good! I'm still wondering why I played this game for 80 hours. The whole game seems to be so bad on paper, but it just somehow works,

Free 2 play done right. The game will constantly give options for you to buy stuff, but you really don't have to. You'll get everything quite quickly just by playing the game, which is great fun!
