Vibes and visuals
This game looks so good. Hand-drawn animation, watercolor backgrounds, and big-band music make every level feel like you’re playing a cartoon short.

The soundtrack is worth listening to on its own.

Gameplay: Old-school arcade. Reminds me of staying up late with my Nintendo or Sega screaming “ONE MORE TRY” at 3 a.m. when I have to get up for school in 3 hours.

Every boss has like six phases, and right when you think you’re done, it evolves into its final form just to remind you that: “you died at 98%.”

The difficulty (aka therapy but louder)
The controls are tight. When you mess up, it’s you, not the game. Even though the game is very difficult.
Cuphead doesn’t hold your hand either.

The Delicious Last Course (DLC = Die Lots, Cry)
Ms. Chalice joins the squad with extra skills, and you still find new ways to die.

The new bosses are simultaneously: “wow this is incredible animation” and “wow that f'n hurt!”

Final verdict
Cuphead is a masterpiece of classic animation. Games like this don't come around often!

Dead by Daylight (aka Teabag Simulator 9.4.0) is a highly advanced crouch‑spamming experience with some horror game accidentally wrapped around it.

You load in “to repair generators” but let’s be honest: the real objective is surviving long enough to assemble at the exit gate for the postgame ritual. Once those gates power, the gameplay shifts from survival horror to synchronized squatting, as four survivors suddenly remember the reason they are really here.

Every match follows the sacred loop:

Tunnel -> Camp -> Gens -> Teabag -> Escape

Somehow, we keep coming back for more.

4/5

Amazing characters, lore, story, and game.

However the combat system was overly punishing. Yes, I am a Souls player, I know... I relearned the systems... The game felt like hide and seek with green mutants while everyone tries to kill you. Tracking each and everyone of them down became quite painful, but I appreciate that they rewarded you for doing so.

Frustrating at times. Rewarding at others. However, I’m not touching Nioh 2 or 3 until I hate myself enough to go through that again. Hopefully, that won't be too soon. About what I've come to expect from Team Ninja.

4/5.

Resident Evil answers the question, what if pockets didn't exist.

You don’t have a magical item box this time. Nope. You get **two** playable characters and the privilege of dropping your stuff all over the floor like a raccoon moving apartments. Half the game is Rebecca and Billy doing the world’s slowest DoorDash: “You carry the shotgun, I’ll carry the herbs, we’ll both forget where we left the key item.”

Enemy design is peak cursed. You thought regular zombies were bad? Enjoy getting folded by leeches, demon monkeys, and Chicago Metra riders on the way to work.

Story-wise, it’s classic Resident Evil nonsense: dramatic villain, questionable fashion choices, and cutscenes that feel like they escaped from a Saturday morning cartoon.

10/10 would drop a vital key on the train floor and forget it exists until three hours later again.

Decided to replay Resident Evil 1 again. I believe I was a child the last time I played it.

Tank controls? Felt like parallel parking a refrigerator with a gun, but somehow it just adds to the vibe. By the end I wasn’t controlling Jill so much as spiritually suggesting directions and hoping for the best.

Death traps, zombie dogs through windows, and doors that open slower than my PC on a Windows update. Every locked door requires a key with the shapes you learned in kindergarten. Every puzzle feels like it was designed by that coworker that hates you.

Dialogue is legendary. Barry has the best one liners.... “You were almost a Jill sandwich” lives rent‑free in my head.

10/10 fixed camera angles, 0/10 confidence opening any door ever again. Would get jump‑scared by low‑poly dogs in 2026 all over again.

Overall 5/5, but I warn the fun factor is not as much as the newer titles. Nostalgia - 10/10

I have played through this game multiple times in the past. At the time, it was ground breaking and brings back amazing memories. Gaming owes so much to this OG game, that it's hard to give this anything but a 5/5.

Dark Souls is my favorite series of all time, and it’s still the benchmark I judge every other action RPG against. The lore is unmatched: areas loop back into each other in ways that feel clever every single time, and the atmosphere is so thick you can practically feel it.

Digging into the world feels like solving a mystery. It’s challenging, punishing, and occasionally infuriating, but nothing beats the rush of finally overcoming a boss that’s been stonewalling you. Easy 5/5 from me, and a series I have followed for years!

Cheaters ruin another potentially good game.

Update: Still cheaters. Such a fun game. Why does everyone cheat like there is a million dollars at stake? Every game is "Spot the Cheater"

10/10 Potential Fun Factor.
10/10 Playing with friends
9/10 Cuteness.
0/10 Losing again to a flying jellybean.

Cannot recommend.

♥♥♥♥ support. Had ticket open for weeks and get the complete runaround.
Avoid Bethesda! Doesn't matter how good the game is if they have no support when you require it.

The game is just fun to play. They got it right. Sad to see the launch issues, but the game is solid and hard to put down.
