Addictive fun. 170 hours, still haven't touched many of the mechanics like circuits or train signaling and such. Haven't looked at mods yet. Runs on anything, brilliant looking sprites, best factory builder/automation game I've ever played.

Bought this because a buddy has the physical copy and we occasionally play, but not enough for me to remember the nuances between gaming sessions. Played a few rounds of the steam version now and I'm loving it. Definitely have to take your time and think things through, but the satisfaction of pulling off a victory on a well executed last ditch effort is real. Having a lot of fun learning all the spirit play styles too, they're quite different. Only one I haven't seen the value of so far is Shadows Flicker, I can't figure that guy out. I lose to blight within a few rounds every time with him. Oh well.

Multiplayer is in opt in beta too, so now I can play with my buddy more often. Win win.

Finally, I also really appreciate the OSX and native Linux builds.

The game is great tremendous fun, new wingsuit is brilliant, and the multiple grappling wires and perfect for all sorts of sandboxy dickery. Plays like you're a cross between Spiderman, James Bond, and Rambo. The team spent an extraordinary amount of time on making the explosions look fantastic, indicating they're quite aware of why people play these games, and what makes them fun. This is a good thing.

Sounds like ATI users are having some problems (and hopefully that gets fixed with a patch or ATI driver update at some point), but let me assure you if you have an Nvidia card you're good to go. The game plays wonderfully with my setup (Nvidia 970 GTX, i5-2500k, 16 GB RAM, Windows 10).
