A perfect blend between wargame and RPG. For all those of us who think traditional wargames are too cold and forget the human context of war. Failing your objectives doesnt mean the end of the game just like it didnt mean the end of the career of a company commander in ww2.

Experience a personal view of a world war and support a team that takes player feedback seriously and treats this genre with the historical context and emotion it deserves.

Everyone wont agree that this is a Disco Elysium level game, or what best to compare it with.

But i will say that this is a very(!) well-written game, with a clear art and music direction that provides and immersive and introspective escape into a world that is in many ways both less and more threatening than our own.

If you are a fan of story-rich games that combine "minimal" gameplay with great lore and immersion, and have something to tell, you should absolutely check this out. I am confident it will be thrown into your category of games like Disco Elysium, Roadwarden and Forgotten City, where you can always connect a certain "feeling" with it.

Just started, but have had no bugs, glitches, crashes or technical difficulties at all. Might end up changing this review based on that (4 hours played as of writing). Story and world seems super interesting, and excited for more.

You should absolutely check it out if you were on the fence due to the technical stuff related to the port (as i was).

Have just finished my first (5 hour) try with the game.

Ignore the people that are upset over working with aliens, or the timeline system.

This game is great! Breach system is fun. Story is interesting. Characters are good!

Absolute gem of a game! The first Unity of Command was brilliant, but this one is even better.
A smooth clean interface, understandable mechanics, enthralling campaign mechanics.

Get this if you are into wargames, puzzle-games or just interested in WW2 in general.

Still feels like a bastard child between CK2 and EU4, but without any of the interesting stuff from both.
Characters are forgettable, Nations all play the same, technology is uneventful, province and building are micromanagy, economy is simplistic, religion plays close to no role.

There is no difference to playing Rome or Parthia or Macedon.
Game lacks serious identity and fun.

Look at the time i spent playing this game. Yup, that is a single playthrough. 12 turns, that is all.

Replay value seems minor as there are hard repurcussions for extremes, so there is no Papers Please-esque payoff to certain actions.

That said, this game has a lot of potential, and if the gameplay lasted for longer than 12 weeks (turns) i would be able to recommend this game.

As it is now, however, why would i pay 10 euro for a game that entertains me for a shorter time than most Youtube content?
