Way better than I expected! The game has beautiful visuals, AWESOME soundtrack, good story and gameplay.

It also has a good replayability value, as there are many possible choices and secrets within.

Hope there's a sequel, or that it can be revived through a movie/anime/series.

One of the best games I've ever played.

If you like "metroidvania" games, Blasphemous is a must play.

The game has truly beautiful graphics, amazing soundtrack, awesome character, level and mechanics design. The developers really did a awesome job with polishing, as the game has very few bugs and Is very well balanced.

I've started to play the game one year after it launched, so I can't say how much it has been improved by the developers, through patches and DLCs. But, right now, this game is in a state that is worth many awards, and I hope it gets the recognition it deserves.

Also, Brazilian portuguese text translations is really good, and the Spanish voice acting is a really big plus. Congratulations to The Game Kitchen and Team17 for the many achievements you had with this game, and I can't wait for what's next!

The best remake I ever played, and for a well deserving game.

The first time I've played Seiken Densetsu 3 was on a SNES emulator, through an unofficially translated ROM. For a long time, I've been thinking that the game deserved at least an english version launch, for modern platforms. Fortunately, not only did Square Enix launch the official western version, but also decided to make a beautifully crafted remake for one of the best action RPGs of all time.

The remake stays true to the original, "story-wise" and "gameplay-wise", but also made some improvements (specially when it comes to graphics, sounds and design). It also added some extra features to keep you playing it a lot more than the SNES version did.

The game has:
- Amazing graphics, truthful to the original's JRPG style;
- Beautiful soundtracks, with the option to play both the remake and the original versions;
- English and Japanese dubbing (the Japanese voices adds to the "oldschool anime-like" vibe);
- Good and challenging combat mechanics (played it with keyboard and mouse, but might work better with a controller/gamepad);
- Many possible combinations of characters (you can form a party of 3 from the 6 available), which will define the party's combat style, some bits of the story flow and what happens at some cutscenes;
- Each character has their own set of classes and skills, allowing you to make different "builds" and combat strategies;
- Three possible final dungeons and final bosses, which will be defined by the main character you chose;
- An awesome world with a good variety of dungeons, monsters, bosses, villages and many different areas that can be explored;
- Some content that are exclusive to the remake.

Even after playing through the game three times, with three different character combinations and 80h+ of gameplay, I still feel like playing it more. If you liked the original, or simply like action RPGs, this game will definitely be worth playing.

F***ing Awesome! A really challenging and beautiful game! It has retro visuals mixed with gorgeus image effects. The soundtrack is amazing and keeps you playing even after dying thousands of times (normally in a frustrating way). The gameplay is really challenging (specially in hard mode) and varies according to the character/mask you choose. The story is very interesting and mysterious, but you can only get the whole picture if you pay attention to small items and elements from all the stages (not to mention the links to the first game). It can last a lot if you try to earn all of the achievements, play the secret level and get A+ score on all levels (either on normal or hard -if thats even possible lol-). Totally recommended, 10/10.

This game is one more reason why people should try indie games. Challenging, but yet simple gameplay. Has a beautiful combination of retro visuals with 3D and image effects. The soundtrack is awesome and fits perfectly with the game. Although a bit short, the extra modes gives it a great replayability value (tried Hard Mode + Truth Mode only -Iron and No Roll modes are for true titan slayers-). The guys from Acid Nerve did a hell of a good job with this game, hope there will be new entries from them in the future. 9.5/10

A great remaster of a classic! Recommended for the fans of the original version and to all fans of point 'n click adventures. The graphics didn't change too much (and i don't think it was really necessary, the original game had great visuals), but the artists did a great job with polishing the game looks. The music, voices and effects sound much better. No changes were made to the story and to the puzzles, remaining completely faithful to the original. It's a great nostalgic experience, with developers commentary and some extras to satisfy old time fans and new fans alike. A 9/10 remaster of a 10/10 game

Awesome remake! Totally recommended for those who hasn't played the original game and also to fans of the original GK series. The new voice cast may not be as splendid as the original, but is still good and faithful to the original voice direction. Other then that, all of the elements of the game have become significantly better with this remake (amazing graphics, better UI, background music...). As for the story, it remains almost completely faithful to the original game (at least from what i can remember), except from a few parts that has new puzzles and scenes. The developers commentary and extras were also a very good call. A 9.5/10, surely!
