The reveal trailer really pulled some strings in me. Especially the end part. Really sold me the idea of this game.
It kinda… oversold it to me. Or maybe I expected something else or something more. But it’s actually okay. I really enjoyed this game and the journey I took as Alta.

I had my touching moments, although I wanted more. I had my cozy moments, although some technical moments didn't land perfectly. But overall, this is a great experience.

What I didn’t really like is that the setting is set in somewhat medieval fantasy time, but the game mixes current real-life time in, so it pulled me out of this fantasy a few times. But when I accepted how it presents itself it didn’t bother me… much.

I’ll remember Alta and the characters that she met. They are all rememberable and server purpose, that I really liked.

It feels like that I’m not a target audience, but I gave it a shot and I liked it.
I’m usually not that kinda of gamer who would play the game on release, but with this one I felt like I wanna dive right in.
If you still think that this is not your cup of tea, buy it on sale.

Early Access Review
As much as I suck at a rhythm games I can't skip something with such great attention to music.
She's banging my beats till I beat. But I gotta support awesome tunes.

P.S.
I first tried "free" internet version and was genuinely surprised to see that my progress carried over to steam version.
Neat.

This is rather hard to recommend. I like that we have a finally to the New York story. The concept of two characters at first didn’t click with me, but unfolding the mystery from different perspectives and insights was rather interesting to experience.

Now, my positive review will come with a bunch of negatives, here they are:
- Music and Sound design. Are the weakest in the series. Comes not even close to the high bar that previous entry "Shadows of New York" set.
- Art style. It saddens me that in previous games we had some variety in characters art – different body or face expressions. Nowhere to be found in this one. The art on its own is alright.
- UI design. I don’t know what triggered them to switch the rather unique UI they had in previous games to "Messenger" style side chat. It’s easier to re-read the lines if you missed it, but I found myself not paying attention to the background art or looking at the characters because of it. I heard that this UI style is common in visual novels, but I didn’t like it, because I wasn’t able to focus on a character while reading their lines.

As much as I enjoyed the ride, there are just so many bumps along it that makes this whole experience not as good as I was expecting...
It is a very hard to recommend, since you can’t have neutral review.
Pick this one if you deeply invested in the series, but prepare yourself to be a little disappointed in overall quality of the game. Shadows of New York peaked in terms of overall quality, where Reckoning sadly didn’t follow and fell short to deliver highly immersive experience.

Haha! You have a fish on your head!
Best artifact to humiliate your opponent without really affecting the fight.

But to be real, it was a great feeling of roaming night as Metamoq.
Kept his head piece till the end.
Metamoq parts does have stats, but eventually you'll find better parts.

I’m just in love with world of Zenozoik.

It was a love from first play of Zeno Clash. The Fantasy-punk aesthetics, music, lore, punch’em gameplay. I’m just in love with world of Zenozoik…

I wish Developers and Creators of this series the best, because this is truly something special to me. I don’t know if we can pull another game in this universe, but I totally would love to visit world of Zenozoik one more time.

The game had a few technical issues, even a few crashes. Two times, to be exact, tied to fighting big bosses. But besides that and a few things here and there, it was an amazing journey.

My review is biased, because I’m just in love with world of Zenozoik.

UPD. I felt so sorry for buying this game on sale that I bought it as a gift at full price.
Worth it.

UPD. Completly forgot to give high praises to OST. The score is fantastic, elevetes the experience to 11. The OST itself deserve an additional review. It's truly something special.
