Pros:
-Wingsuit
-New grapple mechanics
-The ability to infinitely destroy bridges and gas stations
-Pretty scenery even on low settings

Cons:
-Serious fps issues even with new drivers
-No news of a patch almost 2 weeks after patch announcement
-Turning the camera in game causes lag
-Minimum requirements on the Steam page are a lie
-Can't leave the first island due to fps issues in gunfights

Basically I sunk hundreds of hours into JC2 on the Xbox 360, PS3 and the PC and I was bloody overjoyed when JC3 was announced. I was wary of the 60 quid pricetag with the expansion but two weeks before release with nothing but good things about the game coming out of Youtube and other sites I decided to buy it, I wouldn't say I made a mistake in buying it but that I made a mistake pre-ordering. I only made my pre-order after seeing the minimum specs for it, I was happy because, coincidentally, my computer had the exact minimum specs for the game so I was confident that I would be able to run it at a constant 30fps at least.

I was completely wrong, I pre loaded the game, started it up when I got home on the 1st and got ready for no sleep and hours of destructive fun. Unfortunately after the first cutscene had played, which had gone through smoothly with no fps lag, as soon as Rico got on top of the plane my fps took a nosedive. I was running at 10 or below for the entire segment and after installing new drivers the only way I get 30fps constant is by flying a plane so high up that the game doesn't have to render so much on the ground.

If you think you have the ability to run this game because your PC specs are slightly above the minimum dont bother, just save your money for now. It's not worth the money at the moment and I personally have been let down by Avalanche and Square Enix as this is another unfinished game they have released. They have made a good game but failed to test it thoroughly and even on the lowest settings I can't run the game well, I at least expected them to make it so there is no lag when you turn the camera. I've now planned to upgrade my PC and wait for the patch before trying this game further, I'm stuck in one place in the game and have completed everything i can with my fps limits.

Unless you have access to one of NASA's supercomputers to run this game, wait for the patch. However long that may be from now
