Let me start off where the game starts off... Honestly I didn't know what to think in the beginning... The cutscene after a cutscene after a custscene was extremely annoying, thankfully, that was only the first 45 minutes of the game or so.

The story altogether was not really captivating to me, honestly, other than saving the world I couldn't care enough and I just ended up skipping all the conversations I had. The only interesting one was Out-of-Date in his Grease-esque weird mumbling gibberish which I really enjoyed. It was fun enough to encourage me to give this game a real chance. After the slow start of the game and after learning about all the mechanics the game became insanely fun and addicting.

I rarely go out of my way with open-world games to do more than the main story line and right after finishing the game, I felt like I wanted more of this gameplay (once again AMAZING job with the character movement and feels, it's just one hell of a treat to move around with your player character), more weapon crafting, more armor crafting etc... So on the gameplay part and the open world part, you guys get a massive thumbs up.

Other than the gameplay let me talk about the fantastic graphics of the game. I found myself just gazing around at the beautifully nailed vibrant environment that felt alive and found myself saddened whenever I had to enter a "toxic" location where all the vibrance is toned to a specific color. Excellent job.

Overally I think I really did fall in love with the game despite it's shortcomings and too much gibberish speaking in the beginning. I wholeheartedly recommend it as a game to chill out to and have a peaceful grind. Amazing work guys :) keep it up!!! Hope some awesome DLC's gonna drop soon to enrich what little of the story I remember!

No idea what the "remaster" added, other than better looking food, you don't really notice it. I would recommend getting the regular version of the game since you can pick it up for much cheaper than 30 euros. The game is still as amazing as it was 10 years ago. It's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ amazing :) finished it in 2 days. This game is the best deal for people who already had the original and got thisone for free.
