** Update ** 9/24/2025 - The base game is enjoyable. But it needs some work. It will be back to positive once the devs address the major issues plaguing the game. It will take time. I encourage the devs to keep at it. The latest update is the step in the right direction.

I'm frustrated they stated "..want to delay the release to ensure this game was complete". This game is about 60% complete. I think this game is on the right track.

The overall feel is fluid, has responsive controls, and high-quality visuals make BA feel genuinely immersive. The modern military units are well-designed and enjoyable to use.

The Campaign feels a little odd and disconnected from the realistic tone the rest of the game establishes. The characters can come across as out of touch with how military conflicts unfold, which undercuts some of the otherwise engaging tactical scenarios. For a game with so much creative potential, it’s disappointing that there’s no tool to create maps (landscape) from scratch—a feature that would have greatly extended its replayability and community engagement.

Playing the game is a mix of fun with friends and absolute rage from bugs and rushing an unfinished game. Save your money. EA really screwed this one up. It's a shame this is the status quo for triple A titles.

This is an example of a game that is managed and developed at the highest level in the industry. All developers should follow the model this team used to design a great game from the bottom up.

This is hands down the best game i've played in the last 10+ years.

Can't wait to see how this game grows in content!

To all of you at Iron Gate AB... Thank you! For the love of God keep up of this level of work. Other developers should take note. You are setting a standard all should strive for.

Most people try to focus on one aspect of this game. I'm going to approach this game from many angles and enlighten the potential buyers what to expect.

(-)First: The player verse menu. I'm not a fan of it. It’s a little glitchy and the interface is not very clean. But it is semi functioning… as long as the servers are working correctly.

(+/-)Second: Always online. Most people complain about this. I like it. For people that like to split screen and play solo w/o interwebs. Stick with original DD.

(+)Third: The overall changes and rebalances are nice. I like the options and the customizations of DDE better.

(+)Fourth: They have frequent updates and feedback.
