Cyberpunk 2077 had a really bad launch, which a lot of us remember. No, we shouldn't forget that, and developers should be held accountable for their actions. But... I have to forgive them for that and hope they learned their lesson, because:

Cyberpunk 2077 is in my top 5 games of all time. Another one of those being Grand Theft Auto Vice City.

That's relevant, cause Cyberpunk gives me that same feeling of being home. Being somewhere where you're just living in the moment, and just breathing in the atmosphere and exploring the city. I've spent countless hours just roaming the city. Listening to people chatting, jumping fences to look for secrets and stopping at a busker playing his guitar. I swear, probably 60 hours went by doing that. I REALLY have seen almost everything in this game, and I don't mind seeing everything again.

I wholeheartedly recommend this game JUST for that atmosphere. However the game's qualities doesn't end there of course.

Graphics
The detail and just pure graphic quality in this game might be the best I've yet to try. With raytracing on, and everything ramped up, this game is absolutely incredible. I know graphics != immersion, but damn it does help being immersed by the atmosphere, and then just being stunned all the time cause of the graphics.

Gameplay
Gameplay is top notch. SO many options for so many playstyles. Be a quick katana wielding ninja or go in guns blazing! It really is up to you. You got all the playstyles you want. Stealth too of course, with the addition of being able to hack a bunch of stuff. They made sure to design every environment for every possible playstyle, so no playstyle feels irrelevant in any one scenario. This game has nailed this better than any other game I've ever played.

Missions
Missions integrates SO WELL into freeroaming and side missions. As many know, CD PROJECT RED really shines when it comes to side missions, where those can sometimes feel better than some main missions. Everything is just so well put together, and you don't really feel a disconnect from main missions to side missions. They all link together and it always makes sense how things play out depending on what order you play them. It really feels like you're just living and meeting up with people when deciding to choose a mission. SO GREAT, And so immersive!

Story/Characters
So.. Here's the thing.. I haven't completed the story yet. I've spent 163 hours so far, and haven't completed the game. That's one save mind you. So if you're like me and happen to enjoy it as much, there's enough content for 163 hours. I've not been bored yet atleast. I really really like the story, the characters and everything inbetween. Again, this is just a 10/10 game for me, and I would not want anything in the game different, I just want MORE of it! I don't intend to spoil anything, but trust me, the story is really nice and SO IMMERSIVE!

So I've reviewed this game as a game, but really.. This game is not just a game to me. It's been an experience so far, and the closest I've gotten to a true immersive game. I absolutely love this game, and I'm so glad it exists!

Please give this game a shot if you haven't played it. You might have a new top 5 game like I got.

This game already feels complete but has so much potential to be one of the greatest games this decade.

I've always loved the Grand Theft Auto series, but this thing they got going with GTA V has got to stop. Singleplayer has been completely neglected, while online is getting turned into a hacker-infested pay to win game.

Why? Well here's why:

-Everything is expensive, while every job gives you nothing. (but still, Take Two recently said they weren't getting enough money out of their players..) You're actually able to see how some of the first cars introduced where at a fair price. You can then go look at the recent dlc's and see a price of 10x the first vehicles.

-Hackers are everywhere and none are really getting detected and banned. Atleast not enough for the game to be playable without hackers everywhere.

-They recently banned modding in singleplayer in hopes of making SP players go to MP instead. (Allegedly it was to stop hackers in MP, even though this ain't how it works.) So now the only thing that's getting updated with new stuff is the MP part.

-Some of all the stuff you can do to make money can't be done without being in a session with other players, which means you're kinda FORCED to be with hackers and rich people with big jets. Casual players like me stands no chance against that.

-Russians

-Loading screens are WAAAY too long!

It's time to stop being greedy! You're destroying the title along with Rockstar games! I hate you Take-Two.

My reviews on Valve games will always be positive! I grew up with this damnit! We all loved it, like we all loved Half Life 2 and it's great brothers!

Counter Strike: Source is no different! A special place in my gaming heart!
People still play this, even though CS:GO is the newest in the installment.

Truly a unique and well made game. Often with new VR shooters coming out, you find people suggesting how cool it would be to have that game with the mechanics of HV3R. I totally understand their request. Every shooter game for VR should have mechanics like this game has. Anton (The developer) is a hard working man. He deserves the praise for what he has made. This game was one of the reasons I decided to buy a Vive.

Basically a shooting gallery. Nothing to really do but shoot some awesome weapons, and reloading them like in real life.
I'm sure Anton will come up with loads of different gamemodes and the like. Like the current Meatgrinder horror-like gamemode.

Do yourself a favor and consider buying this.

Edit: I'd like to add that there has since this review been added a bunch of different "gamemodes" where you can play:

Zombie survival
Take and hold (Indoor arena where you have to find and defend objectives)
Western shooter
Meat grinder (As mentioned before)

These are the main ones I can remember at the top of my head.
They're all equally fun! So now that we have all these gamemodes where you can go and get yourself some shooting action once you've mastered the reloading, I'd like to declare this as my favorite VR game of all time!

I saw some footage from Hotline Miami one, when it got released. Didn't pay much attention to it. Same goes with this one. I just didn't see what all the fuzz was about. Although, I decided to get the game, and I realized that the game is truly a wonderful game, filled with adrenaline pumped action. I felt like a speedrunner, and it was great. I recommend it for everyone, just to atleast try something new. If you're a speedrunner I recommend it twice as much.

10/10 for being special.

I got this game with the Vive, and it looked like some ♥♥♥♥♥♥ try hard zombie wave shooter.

Boy I was wrong. This is fun! Even though it's cardboard zombies, they're so satisfying to shoot!
Most definitly a game to pick up. 19,99 euroes might seem like much, but this is well polished, and a great thing to show other people. If you're not a fan of wave shooters, don't buy this. If you are however, this is probably one of the most well done ones.

I know I'll come back to this every now and then.

Co-op would be extra fun though.
