Used to be a good tactical shooter, has turned into a game thats pandering to an Overwatch-loving audience with degenerate skins that absolutely do not fit the setting and an upcoming Zombie-Mode, because, hey - Zombies are cool, amirite?
Ubisoft managed to make one good game in a longass time, but had to ruin it somehow - the devs have no idea how to introduce new operators and abilities. Consider this: one of the vanilla operators named Sledge has a big, ol' hammer to make holes in destructible walls. Cool. Subtle, yet effective flanking Attacker. Let's have a look at one of the upcoming Attackers.
Lion: Literally gives your whole team Wallhack. The other one: Nanomachines. Am I still writing a review for Rainbow Six Siege or is this a Metal Gear game. Whatever.
tl;dr; If you love Overwatch and call characters your "mains" and have a crippling obsession of paying money for retextures of said "mains", buy this game immediately. If you want to play a tactical shooter that doesn't give you AIDS, leave this page immediately and get something like Insurgency.
