This...this is a masterpiece. My favourite game I've played in a very long time. I don't know if my words will ever do it justice. I haven't finished the game even once yet, but I am taking my time, savouring every moment, every cutscene, every detail, every fight, every song. The story grips my heart and I've shed many tears, even if I've watched the cutscenes multiple times (from others), just listening to the music alone and reliving the cutscenes in my head move me to tears. I love this game, it's definitely going to be one of my all-time favourites if not *the* all-time favourite, I don't know if I'll find something that can ever top this. The soundtrack alone will also be forever an all-time game OST favourite. <3

I received this game as a Christmas gift during the Winter 2024 sales. So naturally, I wanted to do the Christmas quest, but not only was the quest for it vague and Googling yields few results (spoiler: go to the stone circle portal), but also most of the ingredients needed are more advanced and you basically need to have played a few seasons in to get more ingredients and know what you're doing. The devs have said the Christmas event (and other seasonal events) will be according to in-game calendar in the final game (instead of currently adhering to the IRL calendar), which is good but it means I can't really do much for the event right now.

I feel like I've been thrown into the deep end and not much info is given on anything. The game definitely needs QoL improvements too, for example instead of the down arrow (controller) to open and close the tavern, set it to an object or something, cus I would literally misclick sometimes and lose a lot of reputation. A map would definitely be nice, I have such troubles remembering where the routes are and where they lead to.

I don't know if the devs have plans to change this, but I believe that, at the current stage, you cannot be self-sufficient. As in, in order to make more to sell more, you'd still have to rely on other shops in town. I'm not sure I like this, but it could also just be that I'm not used to a system like this.

That said, I am a sucker for tavern/restaurant-related games, so despite the above, I am interested enough to try and work out things. I guess we'll see how it fairs once I've learnt more.

Early Access Review
As an early access game, this is impressively good. I've only played for less than 3 hours, but I can see myself playing a ton more. Loving the combat and movement so far, and there are definitely features, bugs, and other things to improve on, but it's an early access game at the end of the day. The music is great too, looking forward to hear more of its soundtrack.

Probably the most fun restaurant management game I've played, there is a bit of a learning curve for me, but it's easy to get into and not as high stress as some other similar games. There are still updates after release which keeps things fresh, and playing with friends is also a lot of good chaotic fun.

It isn't a suuuper high quality and polished game, but to me, that's the charm of the game. It is super slow paced and relaxed, and it really is a great stress reliever.

The choices you make don't affect the ending much, so while some might think it's pointless, I think it's great because you don't get stressed from choices. Controls for driving and just the game in general are quite good (I use mouse and keyboard), interesting dialogues and vantage points, and driving around is just so chill, especially with the radio on. God the music!! The music is amazing and very well curated.

It took me over 10 hours to complete the game the first time because I just took my time, and I intend on playing the game again at some point just to experience the driving and its music again.

Another amazing installment in the Room series. Compared to The Room 3 though, I like this a lot more. The story feels a lot more "together" and I like that there are no multiple endings and having to replay the last chapter over and over again.

Probably my favourite The Room game... so far? I have no means of playing The Room VR and Idk if they're making another.

If you've already played the other The Room games, you *know* you'll be in for a ride. This is even better than the last two imo as you get multiple endings by solving the puzzles differently! If you think you're done, you're not. The Room series will always be in my top 5 all-time favourite games.

Tl;dr: It's a good text puzzle game with cyberpunk aesthetics, but with very heavy topics. Trigger warning for suicide, manipulation, alcohol and drug use, physical and mental violence, murder, blackmail.

This game needs a more prominent trigger warning. My original review stated that there wasn't a trigger warning, but the devs point out that there was one on the Steam page, but it is located at the bottom with the System Requirements. I never even thought to look there, because I personally only look at the game summary and description of games. There is currently no trigger warning mentioned in the Steam page game summary, description nor in-game.

Above point aside, I personally liked the game, the aesthetics, the puzzle elements and concept, and the stories all made it a good game. The story gets quite heavy though and if I realised that, I would have better prepared myself for the game. Other people talked about a lack of mouse support. While it isn't too bad without mouse support, the game sure would have benefited from it.

I recommend this game if you like text puzzle games and slow paced games (there's a lot of dialogues!), and of course, if you are able to handle heavy topics.

Some people may see this as just some game about a relationship, but to me, this is *everything* I have experienced of being in a long distance relationship. I didn't know what to expect when I went into the game, but damn do I relate to the story and it made me cry because of that. The puzzle mechanics and music is nice, and the story is on the slower side, but imo well-paced.

Temtem sounded ambitious at first when I learnt of its Kickstarter campaign. To create a brand new Pokemon-esque world and make it MMO? It sounded too good to be true. Well, it turns out to be better than I thought it would be. I never really got into Pokemon games, primarily because it feels like such a grind at times, using the same skills over and over again etc. It's the exact opposite for Temtem. The combat actually feels challenging, world design is nice, and the game has a good storyline.

I definitely recommend, even if it is only in Early Access. As someone who doesn't like Pokemon games much, this solved everything I had issue with in Pokemon games. I also know friends who are hardcore Pokemon fans, and even they told me Temtem's just better. xD Can't wait to play the new updates in the future!
