It's a regular citybuilder on squares with production chains, citizen needs and various powerups that help you get through storm. It has interesting prestige progression. Quite challenging sometimes, unfair the other. Those timed orders... Mildly addictive.

10/10 Would die again.

At first the game was like a fresh breeze, with beautiful landscapes to explore.

Then it turns out that the locations are a copy paste, the mobs are the same, the quests... are the same. 673.7 hrs on record and majority of it was doing same things over and over.

The number of exploits and the way the team deals with them is an example of how not to do things.

- Blocking features unlocks new methods of duplication, a grim joke made to players.
- Want to sell your loot? Forget it, the market is blocked because it duplicated gold.
- Want to sell your trophies? Forget it, the furniture trade is blocked. And even dropping furniture from your inventory is blocked.
- The decision to reduce the drop from animals as part of the rebalance resulted in dropping more low-level ingredients that are much more valuable, which the devs didn't like and immediately blocked the ability to collect them, which basically blocked several life skills and it's still unclear when that will return.
- The decision to reduce the drop from elite locations as part of the rebalance resulted in you losing 3 hours to drop 10 basic regeneration potions.
- Want to go to a dungeon? Forget it, one key per week (Lazarus), and that's after an intense grind of stonework anyway, which you won't do because the devs blocked the ability to collect resources.
- Want to fight PvP? The meta is so strong that you have no choice but hammer and great axe.

Plusy:
- piękna grafika rodem z 8-bitowców;
- muzyka z tychże;
- lore i dialogi;
- ciekawa mechanika budowania toru przeszkód dla bohatera, z różnorodnymi kombinacjami.

Minusy:
- powtarzalna w kółko, jak to rogalik;
- RNGesus czasami nie da wygrać.

I was quite sceptical when approaching the game. All changed when I launched the demo from devs website. Game combines classical Diablo experience with up to date mechanics.
If you are bored of Path of Exile or just want to take a break - check this game.

After a while I thought it's another lazy port with low quality cut-scenes capped at 30 fps... Then I possessed a cat.
Best possessed cat from Salem simulator. Definitely will meow again. :-)

Anyway - I'm glad I got it from Humble Bundle with some other great titles in bundle.
