insanely fun, challenging and addicting, just hard enough to not autopilot but not too hard to where you are just struggling the entire time and that is a very hard balance to strike and i think the Dev's of this game hit the nail on the head. Any real negatuve things i could say is that i wish the movements felt less "ice skatey" but any bad reaction is just personal preference and not being good at the game at all lol, so i think it is still fun even if you are losing constantly like me! You can still beat challenges and quests and that gives you even more motivation than the fun of it and defeating the end boss/final squarm. 9/10 game

Such a fun game with a really cute art style. Fairly simple combat system it reminds me of a game I also love called Castle Crashers, but I think the main appeal of the game is the basecamp building and cult management aspect that is super fun and the occult themes are so cool so if any of those themes are interesting you should play this game even if you haven't played a sim game.

Borderlands 3 Review: A Chaotic, Rewarding Loot-Fest

Borderlands 3 delivers exactly what fans of the series have come to love—over-the-top action, an endless supply of outrageous weapons, and a bizarre, irreverent sense of humor that keeps the experience feeling fresh and fun. With its vibrant art style, chaotic gunplay, and addictive loot grind, Borderlands 3 proves itself as one of the best co-op shooters available today.

One of the standout improvements is the refined gameplay mechanics. Gunplay feels smoother and more impactful than ever, with diverse weapon manufacturers offering unique abilities that genuinely affect how you play. The addition of multiple planets expands the scope significantly, giving players a variety of environments to explore, from dusty wastelands to neon-soaked cityscapes.

Compared to Destiny 2, Borderlands 3 feels more focused on fun and player freedom. While Destiny 2 leans heavily into its live-service model and lore-heavy structure, Borderlands 3 prioritizes player agency and instant gratification. Loot in Borderlands 3 drops frequently and with satisfying variety, whereas Destiny 2 often requires grinding through repetitive content for specific rewards. The humor and personality of Borderlands 3 also give it an edge over the more serious and somber tone of Destiny 2.

Additionally, Borderlands 3 excels in offline and couch co-op experiences, something Destiny 2 simply doesn’t offer. The story, while campy, keeps things entertaining with memorable characters and absurd plot twists that keep you engaged without taking itself too seriously.

If you’re looking for a looter-shooter that emphasizes fun, variety, and chaotic co-op mayhem, Borderlands 3 is a standout title. It’s a game that doesn’t ask you to take it seriously—just to enjoy the ride.
