This is how Oblivion looked to us in 2006, and it feels good to revisit a classic from nearly 20 years ago. My PC is definitely showing its age, but I can still make it look great. I am having fun getting sucked into the world, the NPCs, and the storylines for all the factions and areas.

The only thing I wish they officially supported mods, which were king back in the day with Oblivion probably being the first game I downloaded mods for, and actually downloaded the tools to try and make my own.

Really fun and beautiful RTS game that is constantly getting updated to get better and more fleshed out. The campaign was the main draw for me, and I was really impressed, you get to experience a 20 hour story-line which involves heroes from each of the 3 factions and their respective armies battling against an undercover looming threat.

The armies all share the same infantry, with the exception of exo-suits, but where they are different is in their mechs, which is where this game shines. Each Mech is unique and fulfills a specific role: anti-infantry, anti-armor, artillery, and then others which fill in-between roles or just general support. All the Mechs have a really cool design that really make the overall art design of the game unique and interesting. My favorite is the Polania Zółw, which is basically a mobile bunker with a mortar attached, if you pair 2 of them together, one with anti-armor Gunners and the other with Machine Gunners, they are tough for the enemy to repel.

Fun game with Tongue-and-Cheek humor that reminds me of Monty Python. The game also introduces you to many historical characters, some of whom you may not be familiar with, but still fit the story incredibly well. ACE Team really hit the nail on the head and you should give this game a try!

A Fantastic RTS/RPG Hybrid that I wish I knew about 15 years ago, I would have loved it! Give this game a chance, it has a bit of a learning curve, but since you can pause and issue commands, as well as slow down and speed up the game at your leisure, you can truly think out each move.

The story is highly original, and really interesting, across the 2 campaigns both American and Russian. Both Campaigns have a branching path to another faction known as the Alliance. You also have the Arabs, and the offshoot mercenaries The Legion. In fact, the modding community has brought back the Arab campaign that was originally planned by the devs.

There are a few flaws in this game, but nothing major. Like I stated above, there is a bit of a learning curve, and the game does have a good tips pop-up on the UI, but I do wish there were more tooltips to explain certain icons. This is apparent on the Alliance last mission with the Artifacts you can use. I also wish the Apemen were used more, the Americans can't use them to their full potential, but more than that, except for a few missions, you only get maybe 3 apemen per mission.

I am glad the Original War Community continues to support this game, and I hope it only grows. The game took me about 40 hours to complete with all of the achievments, which is seriously impressive for an RTS. I want to come back to this game from time to time and replay key missions, as well as play the full Arab Campaign once it is finally complete.

Great Medieval Strategy Game that still holds up today!

This isn't the first Settlers Game I played, but it did lay a strong foundation for future entries. The Campaign is very strong, it took me over 25 hours to complete, although your milage may vary. I enjoy the build anywhere style this game presents, even though its sequels shy away from this and force you to capture territories. I wish it had better voice actiong, as sometimes it can be downright terrible. Also another minor complaint is the way this game ahndles walls. You cannot build them, but the campaign may give you a town within walls to start, most enemy cities get walls in the 2nd half of the campaign. Walls, however, means almost nothing, gates do not close to prevent enemies from rishing inside, they just act as funnels for units to be gunned down by cannon towers.

All in all, I had a very nitpicks with this game, but it is a very strong entry in the series, and there is a ton of fun to be had with it!

Fantastic FPS, that I remember spending weeks playing when it first came out. This is the game that a lot of current FPS games learned some of their tricks from. The Campaign is fun, each mission is really long and broken up into usually 4 parts. There are not that many missions, but honestly the story gets told well, and I think there are enough missions to suit it. Some of the missions are fun enough to replay a few times, especially the defense segments, which this game excels at. Between Remote Control Droens, to Auto-Turrets, and stationary weapons you can place like the rail gun; you can have a lot of fun on these missions, and others.

The multiplayer used to be fantastic, huge battlegrounds with jets, tanks, drones, and soldiers thrown into the mix made for some seriusly intense battles. Sadly this game doesn't have online multiplayer servers anymore, although there are some work-arounds if you can find the people to play with, and I know this game has a growing community here on Steam.

Buy this game for its fantastic story and fun missions, consider the multiplayer a bonus if you are able to play it.

Really impressive, especially for a Community-Made Mod. I can't wait to see if Prism Studios can take something like this to the next level, maybe even teach Valve a thing or two. The levels are really creative, and had me ducking under turret fire, and hopping around my room. Heck, if the bonus intro scene from Portal Stories: Mel that you can try out at the end felt so real, I can't wait for more content like this!

Great Game, looks fantastic for its age. Oddly enough, in most games the cutscenes look better than the actual game, here it is th eopposite, the cutscenes are a bit clunky and jarring, but still have their charm. The Missions are wide open so there are plenty of routes to take to get to the end, especially the missions with multiple islands. This is cool, especially when you can choose to be stealthy, snipe your opponents, or just run in guns a-blazing!

The game is pretty challenging even on the lower difficulties. You will have to replay certains parts over and over again, until you finally learn all the enemy patterns and placement, and can do the section near-flawlessly. Checkpoint system is really good with multiple checkpoints per level, however certain checkpoints are a bit too far apart. Driving is a bit clunky, but there is something about first-erson driving in these types of games, that I just love. Finally the last few levels will most likely make you pull your hair out in frustration, I think they could have provided a bit more health and armor packs.

All in all great, classic FPS Adventure!

Great first expansion for Half Life 2. It starts immedieately following the conclusion of Half Life 2, and follows Alyx and Gordan Freeman escaping City-17. Nothing really new, except you get to face Stalkers and Zombie Combines this time around. You also get Alyx as a companion, so she will help you out in most fights. I think this is a bit overpriced as far as DLC/Expansions come as it will only take you maybe 3 hours to beat, but it is well worth it if you find yourself enjoying the Half-Life games.

An awesome Sci-fi/Horror FPS that greatly builds upon the Half-Life mythos. The Gravity Gun and Physics are really put on display here, and afre very fun to use. The Level design is well done, but the sound design isn't unfortuneately. Don't get me wrong, this game has a really awesome soundtrack, but the sound effects leave something to be desired. Most of this comes from the overuse of stock sound effects, I understand when a small studio resorts to stock sound effects, but it is suprising coming from Valve. Second is the gun sounds, for the most part they are fine, but the regular pistol sounds a tad pathetic, as well do the stand-alone MG turrets. The reload sound for the Shotgun sounds like someone flicking a rubber band, which is bizzare.

Overall an impressive game! This was my first time playing it, over 10 years after it was released, and it still holds up.
