I squish the bugs

Duelyst 2 is everything I missed from the first. The game feels approachable, mostly balanced (not perfect but w/e), and the pixel art is great. It's easy to get sucked in once you zero in on a deck that resonates with your play style.

UPDATE: I had complaints about the grind that was present at launch. There have been several incremental changes that make it much easier to acquire cards. Edited this review accordingly.

Game crashes constantly. I was able to get it running by locking my monitor to 60hz. The 4-5 story missions I played through were uninspired in terms of story and actual gameplay. Booted it up a day later and it decided to reset all progression and any setting changes I had made. A quick google shows many people have experienced this since launch.

Don't waste your time. It's a buggy mess.
