This game is a satisfying blend of a tower defence and roguelike. It feels like a mix of Bloons and Desktop Dungeons. If you enjoy the demo, I highly recommend the full game.

Relaxing and extremely addictive. You'll get a solid 5-6 hours which is well worth the price in my opinion.

The prestige system give you a sense of replayability without having to play more than once. Highly recommend.

Early Access Review
This is one of the most in-depth city/civilization builders I have ever played. Songs of Syx trades the granular colony-management elements of Dwarf Fortress and Rimworld for a complex array of macro mechanics.

Managing mechanics such as sanitation, logistics, immigration, law and order, and religion give my cities a verisimilitude not felt in any other game of its genre. You can get lost in the details of arranging rooms and designing appealing boulevards only to zoom back out and realize the complexity of your burgeoning metropolis.

The developer is a class act who has been dutifully working on this project for a decade and demonstrates a conviction for his project which rivals that of the Adams Brothers. In world full of smash-and-grab Indie developers and greedy AAAs, the commitment to the project is laudable. I recommend trying out the demo as I initially did and then purchasing if satisfied.

Highly, highly recommend this brilliant work in progress. 9/10 (UI could use some improvement).

This game just keeps coming out with content. Fair price and no DLC dip and cuts. Happy to have bought from release.

This is like selling a car and then making you buy the seats individually.

Don't read the reviews, especially the negative ones before you play as it will spoil it.

Secondly, try and take the game seriously or else you'll ruin it for everybody.

This gripping 2D sidescroller will have you on the edge of your seat with riveting puzzles to fascinating puzzles.

The gameplay of The Deer is gritty and intense, with multiple minigames to play on your way through the Pleistocene epoch.

As winter approached, you uncover some startling facts from within the cool embrace of the mighty oaks, such as the passing of the majestic Megaladon.

Will you survive the winter as land ice starts to form? Will you make the plunge into the icy waters of 700,000 years past? FIND OUT in The Deer!
