I'm enjoying the game right now as a fan of the series, but as an online fighting game player it's lacking.

This game plays perfectly for a Jojo fan, the fanservice is great and the voice acting has always been good even before they got the anime cast for some of these characters. The new base roster additions are great but I'm noticing part 5 is becoming just as over represented in games and merchandise as part 3. There are certain characters who could be reworked (Josuke 8 for sure) and some parts that could be represented even just a little more.

The online is a mixed experience. You can have a great online battle versus someone with no connection issues (one game out of the five I played as of writing this) or you could have games that are unplayable due to constant buffering. There's also the issue of trying to join a ranked mach and being kicked out because the room is full or something else. Realistically this should have rollback and I don't know why it doesn't.

But as a fan of the series I'm having fun in a couple online matches and playing offline missions or with friends in person.

I love Jojo so I'm glad I can play this on my computer now, 10/10 and recommend if they get rollback netcode but they don't so I can't say it's worth the purchase in this state.
