One of the best liminal space games I've played so far (together with Pools).
I love the VHS effect. It gives the enviroments a more creepy and realistic feel. It doesn't feel as cartoony.
The thing I also love is that it has replayability. Since the enviroments are so big, everytime you play you will encounter different things. Especially with Dreampools because that one felt the biggest to me.
Oh and a big plus is the fact that the game has no enemies. Because having creatures running around that are trying to kill you will just ruin the whole liminal feeling and you will less appreciate the environments you're in. The fact that you are truly alone makes the experience that more creepy.

I have played all 4 maps that have been released thus far. And they have all been great.
The devs did an excellent job on making these liminal spaces feel dreamlike.
I also love that you have an actual objective. And that's finding the exit. It's not just a straight path you walk like in Pools. Though that game did had some sidepaths you could take but they all eventually led to the main path again. So this game feels like an actual maze you walk through. It took me about 80 minutes to find the exit in Dreampools.

I cannot wait for more levels to be added. Because you could basically make an infinite amount of levels since liminal spaces have such variety. Would also love for a VR update though I think that VR would not really work in this particular game since it can take a while for you to find an exit and most people would probably not want to spend that amount of time running around looking for an exit while in VR.

Overall I absolutely adore this game and I will be patiently waiting for more levels.

Also fren scares me :(

I've been waiting years for Killing Floor 3 and now it's finally here. Killing Floor 2 is, as of writing this, my 2nd most played Steam game. So I am very familiar with the gameplay.

After the beta I was a bit nervous about KF3. It needed a lot of improvements. Luckily they changed a lot in the stress test. However this does not mean that the game is a 10/10. A lot still need to be done for it to live up to it's predecessors. But I have hope for this game because Tripwire really seems to care and listen to feedback.

I myself really enjoy the game and I have gotten used to the changes they made when looking back at KF2. And I do think that most people are way to negative about this game and they treat it like it's the worst game they have ever played. Sure it has a lot to live up to but I am positive that, with time, this game will became a true Killing Floor 2 sequel.

As of now the mixed reviews are understandable and I hope that, with more updates, more people will like it. Tripwire has already addressed some things that they will change. The biggest thing being to seperate the characters from the perks. Which yes it was a dumb idea from Tripwire to have them combined in the first place. And yes we will get modern realistic weapons. Only time will tell if this game is going to be as good as Tripwire promises it to be but I am hopeful.

Still one of the best things to experience in VR. And it isn't even a game.

Played the Demo on itch.io back in 2023 and was very suprised by how polished and unique the game was. Happy to say that the full release lived up to it's expectations! Can't wait for future updates such as peaceful mode!

Just completed this game with both having gotten the bad and good ending. Here are my thoughts:

So first of all I am really happy that people are getting inspired by Allison Road. And that this game got the blessing by the creator of Allison Road. When I first saw that gameplay trailer I was really hyped. Especially since P.T. got cancelled. But then Allison Road also got cancelled which was a bummer. Then ofcourse people made more games inspired by P.T. One of which being Visage which I've also played.

So does this game feel like an attempt at making something like Allison Road? Kinda. Though this game feels more like a Demo than a fully completed game. It's short, buggy and lack of things to do.
It was not really that scary (for me atleast) because there is no real sense of danger. The game makes use of your microphone so you can communicate with the ghost. Which is a really cool feature. Though you can also use a menu where you can click on all the questions that you can ask. But the game also makes use of your microphone when the ghost spawns. If you make too much noise the ghost will know your location and kill you. This feature in my opinion just doesn't work well and is unnecessary. Just make it so that you can hide in closets and such because you can just turn your microphone off.

The story also doesn't really make a lot of sense. I won't spoil it here but you will understand what I mean when you have completed one of two endings.
The house is also way to small with almost nothing to explore. Making the house bigger would make exploration much more fun and would it way more scary when you are being chased.

The ghosts itself is really creepy though. The cutscenes you randomly get are pretty goofy but the ghost is pretty scary when she spawn and looks around for you. Especially how she sprints towards you when she sees you. That can really scare you when you least expect it.

The whole camera system is also pretty neat. And the way you have to use the cameras to find clues is also really well done. Though it did take me some time to figure out how to find clues but I could just be stupid.

Overall it is a fun little spooky game. But keep in mind that it will feel more like a demo and don't expect this to be as scary as that Allison Road trailer. There is definitely room for improvement but I hope the second game will be beter.

I'm already giving this game a positive review without having even played it on Steam since I've played it a ton on Epic Games when it first released. Happy to see it's finally on Steam!

This is one of those games which is so good that I'm willing to buy it twice. I LOVED the first Dead Island and this one is definitely a step up. It still has the bloody chaos, cool weapon crafting and beautiful locations just like in the first game. Really happy that this game didn't become a ''Duke Nukem Forever".

Can't wait to play it again but this time on Steam <3

I am only a bit more than an hour in and I am already loving it! This really brings me back to the feeling I got when playing Life is Strange for the first time. I don't really play these type of games often but when I do they are always such a blast. And this one is no different.

I was really bummed out when I wasn't able to play Until Dawn because I didn't have a PS4 (also really hyped that it's coming to Steam this year). But being able to play this game which is made by the same devs really is a cool experience. The graphics are insane, the facial animations are very well done and the characters are really interesting.

I can't wait to play more! Would 100% recommend to anyone who enjoys choice based games.
