Preface: I love this game, its awesome and amazing.

But this steam port wasn't as good as I was hoping. It has netplay, which is sick, but the functionality is very limited.

The only leaderboards are for 1P score.
The only way to find an opponent is to invite a friend, or hope you find a lobby: No matchmaking of any sort.
I could not find any way to interact with my opponent, couldn't tell them "gg" after a set, or even warn them that I would quit. I couldn't find a way to friend someone for more games later in the lobby.

Overall, for multiplayer, there seems to be little reason to play this version over using the rom you've just bought in fightcade, which is a bummer.

All that said though, it's an awesome core game, and I highly recommend it.
