So far it's been great, for both story and gameplay. As someone who has played Y0, Kiwi1 and Kiwi2, it continues to provide a prime yakuza experience.

If you've played any of the other Yakuza games and liked them, I'm 100% sure you'd like this. Still follows the same formula of 1/3 serious story, 1/3 wacky substories, and 1/3 minigames. I would still recommend playing Yakuza 0 and Yakuza Kiwami first(in that order) for context in this one. Especially since there are a few unlockable chapters you play as Majima, and reference things that happen in 0. As much as I love Kiwi 2, make sure you play the others first.
