Forever skies is a game that is hard to recommend, on the one hand it's enjoyable, it has some very interesting ideas and mechanics, the air ship namely is very neat as are some of the tools. However, it's very repetitive, and very short, it can be beaten in under eight hours which for a survival style base building game ala Valheim and others is very low content. What the game does well it does very well, but there are glaring flaws.

Unimaginably based game. Old school fun. Takes about thirty minutes to learn, but provides hundreds of hours of fun. Great coop. Great guns. Easily the best Starship Troopers game ever made AND also the best terminator game ever made. Sony ♥♥♥♥♥♥ off, the eating is good.

good job on such a wasted opportunity devs. Games like this are the reason good devs won't pick up WH to make games. This game is still a broken mess, it still has a literal coin flip hard lock bug that's been in the game since launch that has no work around other than starting a brand new campaign and hoping to god it doesn't happen again. You ♥♥♥♥♥♥ around with the balance of the game and nerfed the hell out certain playstyles but did nothing to bring up the TONS of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ options to make them even remotely entertaining in comparison. What a waste of time and money. If you're thinking of buying, wait. The devs haven't really said anything in almost three months, there's a decent chance game is just abandoned at this point and like pointed out above, still has hard lock bugs in it that aren't triggered by specific player actions and have no work around. If you want to waste thirty hours just to hit the last few parts of the game to get locked out and unable to continue, feel free, but otherwise, avoid this.

good ol reverse uno. Devs have been in an amazing amount of work in the past few months, this is one of the most underrated deck builders on steam, and it's seemingly only getting better. Editing review to better reflect current opinion as most of the previous negative reviews issues have been resolved.
