The good: This game is absolutely peak, likely the largest-scale AAA immersive sim ever made, with tons of interesting game modes and a near endless amount of content
The bad: Dear god what is the pricing structure of this game I need to give people detailed instructions how to buy it when I recommend it

Honestly this may very well be my game of the year. An absolute blast from start to finish, perfectly scratches that collectathon itch while also treading new ground with one of the most interesting control schemes I've ever seen in a game like this. Game of the Year for me, personally

An absolute steal for the asking price. A surprising amount of depth and interactivity between systems with lots of secrets to uncover makes this easily one of my favorite games of the year

What Pyst was to Myst, The Looker is to The Witness. The key difference being that, unlike Pyst, The Looker contains some actually good puzzles and is free! Whether you enjoyed The Witness or thought it was way too pretentious, you'll likely enjoy The Looker
