PLEASE ACTUALLY READ THE PRIVACY POLICY. The game is not spyware, it's not stealing your data, it knows less about you than Google, Meta, or TikTok but you don't see people review bombing them. Imagine releasing a game that you've put your heart into, only for it to get shot in the kneecaps on launch by people in tinfoil hats.

Enjoying the game so far. Really nice light survival experience, the obvious comparison for me is Palworld, another game which I massively enjoyed. Gameplay is engaging, melee is surprisingly fun for a shooter, and there's fishing, which we love to see. Base building has grind, but 6 hours in I already have Specialisations and Deviations that are helping to alleviate that. Can't comment on the story yet because I've barely scratched the surface, but the world seems interesting enough so far. It's free tho, so stop listening to me and try it for yourself

The original Slime Rancher is one of the most peaceful and soothing games I've ever played, and this is very much an improvement. The slime science is more involved, and doesn't need me to sit around waiting for an RNG machine (although I do wish the spawn rates were a bit higher for the materials). My biggest issue with the previous game was how difficult it was to keep carnivorous slimes happy, since chickens always seemed to reproduce so slowly: in SR2, chickens spawn much quicker, to the point that I even have enough leftover Roostros to feed my Hunter slimes.

I do miss the drones though. Once your ranch gets big/efficient enough, it's difficult to find time to explore.

Teal deer; if you liked the first one, you'll love the second one.

Really great game if you don't mind not having cool aesthetics. I liked Overwatch but I like Paladins more because it feels like an actual MOBA- and it's a little more lively and charming. Plus it's a lot more free. I would definitely reccomend this to anyone who likes shooters- there's even Viktor for people who like conventional shooters- and people who like MOBAS, and even more so for people who like both. You may as well try it- all that's gonna be wasted if you don't like it is an hour or so of your time and a temporary 8 to 10 GB of storage.
