I really enjoy this game. Feels more like an interactive novel with some management aspects. The combat is a bit blah. I feel like more can be done but overall a solid game.

Story rich rougelike TRPG that is creative with it's presentation and overall a nice game. Also I like what Ocean Drive Studio are doing with the Lost Eidolons world. Would like to see them build more on this setting.

While I haven't beaten the game. I just want to leave a thumbs up. It is a good game. Super cool game. A mix of adventure games and RPG. But really its more about the adventure. Neato game!

It's a fun short enough game. Like a Saturday morning cartoon. It rather striking at times to look at with nice sense of style. You can really grind and over level/become very rich. I had no issues playing it with a keyboard. Fun game and good time.

One bummer for all Commandos-like game fans has been the death of Mimimi Games. Shadow Tactics, Desperados, and Shadow Gambit. Like any junkie I have been in denial with how much time and money I have spent on these kind of games over the years. In the search for my next isometric stealth high I found War Mongrels.

Now War Mongrels is fine. But it takes some getting used to. I found the controls at first to be off putting. Moving the camera is just unintuitive. I also found some of the ways that left and right clicking on things worked to be odd- as I would mis-click left or right and it would unselect the person I was using and well that's not great for a game like this when timing matter. I also faced a few odd bugs here and there. One fun one was a nazi I killed was glued to my guy- it appears to have been caused by me saving while carrying a body. Not the worst thing but a thing none the less. Anyway point is that this game is a little clunky to play and does take a little bit of time to get used to. I almost stopped playing it due to this- but you know what I am happy I did not.

Because like all of these kind of games War Mongrels is basically is a puzzle game but with well violence. It was really fun to murder Nazis and the story is very dark. It does not down play any of the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up ♥♥♥♥ that was happening in WW2. It also unlike other games in this gerne has what I like to call a ♥♥♥♥ it mode. In this mode the game kinda becomes a little bit like Destructive Creations other game Hatred. Its becomes an isometric shooter and its really fun. I really enjoyed gunning down waves of Nazis. Something that you really don't get in these sneaky games. Sure there are times when it kinda just happens in this gerne but War Mongrels encourages it. Very fun.

Overall a its a nice game in the gerne and fun.

Its a good Commandos-like game. Fun story is nice enough and the game play is fun. Its nice to kill Nazis.

This game has so many sweet moments with the crew.

In short, it's not a bad game about a privileged child trying to save folks stuck in Andromeda.

I can't fully grasp why so many hate on this game- 7 years later, I've finally gotten around to playing it. Having enjoyed all the other Mass Effects, I find myself enjoying this one a lot too.

Sure, there are some parts of the game that aren't great, but they don't ruin it for me. The menu system, clearly designed for consoles, is a bit annoying—why can't I just click on things? It makes the controls more of a hassle than they should be. Maybe there's a mod to fix it. Also, dialogue sometimes gets cut off and jumps to the next line, which can be frustrating. Combat is just combat; I zoomed around and shot stuff. There are times when the spoken dialogue doesn't match what I clicked on, and playing as a privileged character feels off.

But despite these annoyances, it's actually quite fun. I feel like we don't have many RPGs like this anymore. I'm down for more space adventures with friends.

Overall, it's a neat game. I like it.
