This is one of the most frustrating experiences I have ever had.
Which sucks to be honest because there is a lot of the game i adore

The story is compelling, it is interesting and most important, it is fun.

The combat hits that fire emblem itch. While it may be pretty simplistic, it has enough depth to make every battle fun in it's own right. Plus each character is varied in their class so you don't have issues where you just get a character who is the same as a previous but maybe better.

Presentation is well, it's pure Danganronpa. That makes sense because of who made it, But i kind of wish that the game visually stood out more on it's own. It looks great but I wish it had it's own style then just well, Danganronpa

So you may ask yourself, Why do I not recommend this game?
Simply put, this game does not respect your time.
I went in fully understanding that this is going to be a long game. At minimum 40 hours on the first playthrough.
I didn't expect my first 18 to be so dull and honestly, boring. This is the case of, IT GETS GOOD X amount of hours in. Yea totally great im glad i need to play X amount of hours for it to get good.

This game sets itself up as your choices matter, yea your choices matter 30 hours in
Everything else is just free time, free time, free time and free time

AND IM a huge Danganronpa fan, but free time in that series never felt so overbearing.
It felt like it was paced well.
This game is not

And it's annoying because as you can tell, everything else i like.
but the story pacing is so bad it tanks my enjoyment.

Honestly, i'd think this series would've been a killer anime
