I will preface this review by stating that I would absolutely recommend this game in its current state. I have seen the game come on leaps and bounds since my initial install date and I have no doubt that if the development continues in its current state it will add to my list of filler games between other releases

I originally saw this game in a Steam banner roughly 6 months ago during a lull in content from Path of Exile; the game seemed to match my preferred genre so I gave it. It's free to play and download so I wouldn't lose out on anything. A brief summary in pro's and con's would be:

PRO'S:
- Fun gameplay akin to most ARPG's, combat is smooth and responsive
- Relatively in-depth skill system with customisation that can be completed on the fly. Costs to respec talents are later on in the game which the rewards system throws at you regularly
- Build enabling items and impactive legendary items. Most gear can be bought with one or two of the games luxury currency
- Smooth levelling experience, with the end of campaign seamlessly placing you into the end-game "mapping" system. The campaign takes approximately 4 hours if you know what you're doing
- A fair few playstyles to pick and choose based on preference
- Despite what reviewed may suggest the game isn't intrinsically pay-to-win and end-game content can be tackled as a F2P player. The marketplaces economy is purely player driven, the currencies for which are naturally farmed as a result of playing
- The full game release has been successful, and if the current season trend continues there will be a fair amount of content to tackle

CON'S:
- There are clear pay-to-improve aspects shall I say within the shop such as the pact system. The game tends to offer one pack opening a day, however the most useful of them require different currencies. Because there are multiple currencies it's confusing what buys what, how to increase odds for specific traits, and which pacts do what prior to owning them
- The tutorial system is hard to understand and hard to follow, especially if this is the first ARPG that someone may play. Skills and linking, as well as synergies are not inherently intuitive and a first character will definitely be unsuccessful if no research is done prior to playing
- Some of the classes within classes require purchasing, although they can be earned over time. Whilst these classes may not be better than their mirror class they offer a different gameplay experience
- The end-game "mapping" system is relatively repetitive, progression within this system isn't explained particularly well and I often found myself confused
- Once the campaign is completed almost all of the help with progression ceases, and what remains as a quest is only guidelines.
- The interface is clearly designed for mobile devices and portable consoles. Some menus can be closed intuitively with the "ESC" key and others have to be manually clicked on. Items in the inventory cannot be moved around. The marketplace's tabs are not easy to understand.

In summary I have listed more con's than pro's which may seem like I'm being critical of the game. The game is absolutely free to play and the content the game offers can be experienced with no money invested at all. The only money I have pumped into the game is for the Season Pass which was only a nod to the developers time. If you're looking for a fun, relaxing, solo ARPG I would definitely recommend giving this a try,
