It's a fun semi-auto battler, it's dirt cheap, has a bangin' soundtrack, and great support from the dev. Easy recommendation.

It is very good, but punishingly difficult. The spell creation system is fascinating, and the amount of secrets (both large and small) seems huge.

I would add the caveat that if you're easily frustrated by "cheap" deaths that are very hard to see coming, you might not get on with it. Occasionally runs will be ended by things you can't predict, especially as a newer player. That said, most deaths will be your own fault entirely.

Heartily recommend if you can deal with that. The game is incredibly interesting, and very funny.

It's an excellent addition to a game I'm really enjoying. It adds some absolutely brutal enemy factions (that you can customise to be less brutal or even allied to the player), as well as an alternative path to victory. Traditionally, the player had to focus on keeping AI progress low, whereas with this expansion, there is room to go a bit more toe to toe with the AI with massive firepower on both sides.

Highly recommended if you enjoy the base game and want to add more variables into the mix.

The funniest couch coop game I've played in ages. Just spent two and a half hours playing through the "basic" first half of the game, looking forward to the advanced levels next time. Well worth the asking price, coop levels scale so they're playable for 2, 3, or 4.

I put a bunch of hours into AI War 1, so was happy to grab this on release. The price is a steal for the amount of play time you can get out of these games. Seems similar to the first, but they've streamlined a lot of the pointless busy work. Seems great so far! Nice to have an RTS that isn't dependent upon how fast you can click between units. Good job Arcen!
