You know how they spend a ton of time in Mario games to make just the basic movement of the player character a joy to engage with in and of itself?

I have found the game to be unplayable in its current form. EasyAntiCheat (EAC) boots me out of every multiplayer match, throwing Error 0006000043.

So far, I have spent several hours trying to figure out a solution to this problem. Disabling antivirus, verifying game files, driver updates, killing background tasks, all to no effect. Everything I could think of except running Windows in safe mode. Though now even if I did find a workaround any unqualified recommendation I could have given the game has been invalidated. Users should not have to jump through excessive hoops like this to get their game running.

What I have found is that this is apparently far from an isolated problem. Other For Honor players have this exact issue[forums.ubi.com], going back to the closed beta. And users running other games that use EAC have reported problems getting it to run as well. The most concrete claim I could find is that EAC does not play nice with certain Nvidia graphics cards. Furthermore, EAC might be spyware if their TOS is any indication.[www.techpowerup.com]

This is the kind of crap that QA should have caught and solved long before public beta testing. The game launches in less than a week. Simply put, this is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ unacceptable.
