A more than worthy successor to Hades

Absolutely fantastic and an example of what a rougelite should be.
And just like in other Supergiant's games, the sountrack is otherworldly.

Excellent writing with well thought out and deep characters.
Gameplay is more in line of CYOA or Interactive Fiction than a true RPG.

I am not a great fan of real time strategies, and for me the pinnacle of tactical simulation will always be Jagged Alliance 2, but I was a fan of first and second Dawn of War. Though, it was probably because I am 40k nerd. Still, those games had a degree of tactical depth that lacks here in Dawn of War III: Grab your hero and kill everyhing, a bad game.

This is the best game that is not Deus Ex.

While the gameplay is nothing special, the storyline and writing rule so much that they put many RPGs to shame.

This is basically Hearth of Darkness: The Game. Play it.
