Hades I walked so this one could fly.

Yes, I skipped a step there, but that is how much of a leap this game takes from the first one. I strongly recommend playing Hades I first, and then this game is a definite buy.

As a Borderlands fan, I am sadly returning this game. It ran just barely OK, with 30 fps in cut scenes and a max of 70 fps in the game with hitching as the world loaded. I am completely fine with the new world of games costing $70, but if they expect more from us, then I expect the same from them. To release an unfinished product for $70 is hurtful.

This game offered a fresh and intriguing experience, with movie nights and "Secret Alien" being particularly brilliant. However, I'm discontinuing play because the "characters" are too similar to people I avoid in real life, which undermines its role as an escape. Despite this, I still recommend it to others looking for something new.

This game has been an incredible journey. The voice acting is superb, the game play is spot on, and the character development was a pleasure to unfold. If you appreciate a good story line driven adventure with some sandbox elements and a truly epic challenge, I cannot recommend this game enough. I hold hope that things will change and that we'll get a sequel after all, but even as a standalone, this game will be one of the ones I remember.

Well worth the time. Enjoyable story, great gear grind, wonderful end game so far.
