Spicy discord fights and in-game chat drama was better than playing the actual game or PVP.

Had the foundation of a really good and addicting combat system brought down by impressively bad weapon and armor balance. The game is also littered with bots and paid/shared accounts that cut into your resource grinding and chances of participating in the pvp wars. If you're a new player, I'm glad you don't have to live through the large number of game breaking bugs and exploits that cropped up every major update. If you're into casual PVE with friends, you may enjoy it. It will definitely scratch that classic Runescape resource grind itch for a short time.
