Mist Survival, at first sight, seems like a completely normal zombie survival game, however it will not take any more than 10 minutes into the game to figure out otherwise.

The character you play is mostly powerless against the strong zombies which the game presents, at least with most tools, and the game will be sure to remind you that with a “Mist event” on the very first in-game day. A Mist event is directly tied to the story - the mysterious fog which drove the infected completely maniac(and you are immune to), allowing zombies to roam freely around the map regardless of daytime and area, and few additional zombies are spawned - which you can be sure will find their way to you.
This encourages the player to quickly find shelter and construct defenses around it.

You can create a lot of things out of your shelter(and more things are being added in every single update), would it be a completely fortified building with power supply and defenses or just another building.

The game also has bandits - other people which are immune to the effects of the mysterious fog and have grouped together. These bandits remain in their camps unless attacked - in which case the player's shelter is going to be attacked in the following days by the nearest bandit camp.
In the beginning of the game, it states that the player has come from a camp of survivors, in which something happened and he managed to escape.
The bandits have survivors kept captive, and hence it could be assumed that those survivors were once members of the previously specified camp.

If you raid a bandit camp and secure the survivors, they will go to your shelter, in which place they can help defend against attacking enemies(zombies, bandits, etc) or be assigned to fulfill different tasks(like crafting).

Additionally, regardless of the fact that no official story has been posted, the game provides the player with the ability to explore parts of what could be an explanation to what happened and who the player is like hiding alien things inside of the military base, etc.

In general, the game is one of the better I have played yet, and it's truly a shame it isn't recognized by many yet.

I highly recommend this game, as for everything it includes in it.
Although this game is in Early alpha it absolutely amazed me with such features, and bugs were patched in not less than ten minutes after a request was sent to the developers.

I don't think I have ver seen a game which had so much effort put into it, especially not in Early Access.

Sincerely,
