Fantastic party game to play with friends! I'm a fan of the entire OMD franchise, and just tower defense styled games in general. Some folks seem to think this has strayed too far from the roots but I think it's a great evolution of the series and a fantastic game to play with friends.

I'm a massive railroad fan and watched this game progress through development from nearly the beginning when it was first announced. I have to say, I was extremely impressed upon initial opening how fluid the mechanics were for being an early access game. The devs have out a lot of thinking into little QoL features and nuanced behaviors of the game.

Now if you're simply looking to railfan and watch trains passively go by, this game might not be the best fit for you. It's a management and logistics game at it's heart, as it realistically simulates movement of freight through a rail network and all the issues that come along with coordinating that. It's extremely rewarding figuring out switching puzzles and getting a payout for spotting a cut of cars. The progression seems solid so far and I'm always looking forward to the next advancement.

I'll be continuing to play and keep up with this game as it moves towards version 1.0.

ROCK AND STONE FOREVA

Buddies and I saw this and immediately became interested. Since then, it's permeated our life and become one of our favorite co-op games of all time! The complexity and depth is just right for this sort of title, enough to keep us wanting to keep coming back, but also not so lengthy that we don't feel like we make significant progress in a single after-work evening.

Also, it's fun seeing the little examples of the passion the devs have for this game. It's truly a masterpiece, highly recommended if you have a friend or more to play with. Though, I can't much speak for the solo experience personally, I've heard it's quite worthwhile.

I love everything about this game, it's simple and intuitive to pick up but can scale in complexity as you see fit. It's great to hop in for an evening, create a new section dedicated to a new shape, then hop off, if that's your kind of thing. But even for extended play sessions the time you spend building new machines usually eclipses that what is needed to amass enough of a previous one to level up or earn an upgrade. In this way, the game is flexible and easily fits into any sort of time constraints.

All in all, if you like building, sorting, and organizing things or just staring at your own divine creations, this is 100% the game to get.

They shut down the online servers for this version of the game in a forced attempt to sell the remastered version. Terrible practice and I will not be playing anymore after dozens of races with friends over the years.

Nice and simple game, fun as hell for parties of 3 or more and really easy to pick up on the controls for newbies.

Great casual game to play with friends! Lots of game mode to keep it interesting for a long while.

Easily the most in-depth and flexible city builder out there. Workshop content is plentiful, though vanilla gameplay can still provide dozens of hours of enjoyment. 10/10 would recommend, I've even gifted this game to several friends.
