This game straight up doesn't work, does not run at all. good thing i paid 60 dollars for it lol. FAIL!!!!!

good game but they need to re-vamp the start of the game. you can't hit anything, the highest hit% chance u get is like 60% then your characters miss everything. very annoying start but fun middle-end

it's AIGHT. feels like old arcade game. challenging and replayable, but not much going on.

it looks great but really all you do is walk around in mazes. i wish there was more to it because the graphics are crazy

Repetitive, not enough firearms, same enemies everywhere with the same models, vehicle diversity very low, just overall a very static game. immersion factor pretty low. Re-installed a few times to try and get back into it, finish the game, but lost desire to play very soon after. I guess maybe Bethesda games and Grand Theft Auto have ruined other open-world games for me

Having never played the original Torment, (or Baulder's Gate, just saying..) and also being a fan of games like Wasteland, Shadowrun, and other tactics/RTS games of this same type, I did not find this game very entertaining for very long.
- Tides of Numenera had an intriguing start, very unique and interesting / fun-to-look-at atmosphere, lots of weird sh*t going on, a great fantasy environment.
- However, like other reviewers have said, the UI and movement of everything feels sluggish. Movement of player characters and menus alike are noticeably slow after a time.
- The walls of text and dialogue did not really bother me, although it is alot more than I am used to. Shadowrun is one of my favorite series of games, and there is not too much text, but just enough to give you scene details, etc.
- Combat was severely lacking. 1 Movement point, 1 action point. very boring, and often just avoiding comat is the best option. so basically you are just reading the whole game, which is fine, if that's what you're into.
- This game is basically a Visual "Choose your own Adventure" book (if anyone is even old enough to know what that is), but done well.

-I wouldn't totally say to pass this game up, but if it's on sale for like $5.00 - $10.00 or something, I would try it. It might be up your alley. It is well-produced, looks good, and the writing is on par. definitely better writing than most video games. but, unless you plan on doing alot of reading, and less fighting and more walking around, than this game might not be for you. I will try replaying it eventually, but if you are looking for a combat-oriented strategy/tactics game, this is definitely not one of those.
More reading than playing.
I wouldn't really even consider this a Video Game, but an interactive story. but...a good one at that. Alas, that is not what I come to steam for. but i do applaud their effort. it is a very nice production. just not my genre, or many others' i imagine.
