The game has brought some fresh ideas to the genre. The in game loot filter editor and crafting was a pretty fresh take. Unfortunately, the combat for the longest time was very floaty, and lacked that "crunch" factor. When multiplayer was introduced, it came with a lot of bugs, slow loading screens, etc. End game lacks content and the campaign is not even finished. The developers now want us to pay for an expansion on top of a pretty poor foundation. No thanks. Unfortunately Krafton purchased this development team, and will probably just try to squeeze what they can from it.

Spent around 7 hours doing the typical MMO "run here kill X" quests. Most of the enemy NPC's could be killed in one click, it was way to easy/boring, even for a new player. UI is very busy. Popups to purchase things every time you login. Game looks amazing, character customization was neat.

This game is extremely fun and challenging. There are a few minor issues that can be worked around. The only major issue right now is preformance. Once you hit 200+ prisoners, the game starts to get very laggy. The 200 figure could change depending on your CPU. From what I read, the AI pathing is causing the issue. My advice would be to purchase this game on sale. Keep your prison somewhat smaller and you should be OK.

I purchased this game during the winter Steam sales. I thought I was purchasing a full game. The number of routes and engines that come out of the box is very small. The loading screens are advertisements to purchased a given DLC. The whole experience feels like a giant money grab. I started off training on all sorts of engines, only to find out a lot of them are not even available until you purchase them separate. The only routes that ship with the game are passenger transports. No steam engines and no cargo.

The performance is a bit lacking too. The game gets choppy, and crashes often.
