THE biggest complain that I have (along with majority of people who bought Dark Devotion) is the lack of optimization and customization.
You CAN'T:
- Change volume of the game (have to do it manually via "Volume Mixer")
- Rebind keys, which is extremely annoying because the default keybind is straight up rubbish and hard to get used to.
- Change graphics because video settings is literally not exist. Like why!?
Now to the bread and butter of Dark Devotion: gameplays.
- When you start the game, its gonna be very tough because you have rubbish starting gears but as you progress you will have better ones to use for the next run after you die. There is really no actual penalty for dying beside losing better gears/items you collect throughout your run. And since you can only have 1 "portal" activated at a time and you can only progress forward, whenever you want to explore other areas you have to start from the very beginning of the dungeon or suicide to start over (unless waste 1 of your 4 inventory for a certain item to teleport back to main hub). Which is rather stupid and can be redundant for some.
- There are blesses and curses which act as buffs/debuffs on your current run. Both of these are pretty much RNG base. You can gain a blessing by killing same monsters multiple times or using a weapon for long time, etc. and you may be cursed by wearing an armor for too long or get hit by enemies, etc.
- Since Dark Devotion is a "souls-like" 2D game. Mage build is utterly useless/rubbish. Archer is "easy" mode. Roll to dodge attacks is the BEST option. And blocking is situational because you can only block attacks, no parry and some attacks from monsters/bosses are not blockable.
- You can unlock permanent bonuses as you explore the game which can make your future runs slightly easier and also you can spend more time grinding this game.
- There are many bosses and each of them are quite unique. Some are much easier than others and of course you gonna die a few times til you figure out the patterns and how to deal with them. Just like Dark Souls.
- Lorewise, pretty similar like Dark Souls. You gotta "exhaust dialogue" with NPCs you meet throughout your journey. And you can collect pieces of stories which will be saved at the main hub's library so you can read to understand the game a bit more.
The Verdict:
- Is Dark Devotion a good game?: it's okay-ish really.
- Is it fun?: yes if you can get used to with the rubbish default keybinding.
- Is it recommend?: yes but I'd say grab it on sale only. it's really not worth $20 USD.

My very first game of the Metroidvania genre and boy I FREAKIN LOVE IT. Gameplays are just *chef kiss*. It is quite simple and straight forward yet made me hooked. There some very creative skills for you to use too, suitable for any type players eg: block/parry sure, go rogue sure, casters why not, etc. The grind is amazing too, you can easily spend over hundreds of hours to grind for materials (which can be used to create food, craft armors/weapons or enhance your "spells"). Weapon techniques are one of many things for you to grind. Some weapons have certain skills (usually just one or two) but once you master it, you can use those skills for any weapons of the same type. Overall a great game, HIGHLY recommend especially fans of Metroidvania genre.

The Pros:
+ Fast pace, action pack gameplays. It is extremely fun, you can clear each section with however way you want: gun blast enemies down, combo with your skills, or just straight up melee them are all possible. Heck even parry only is viable too.
+ High replayablility.
+ Stunning visual, EXTREMELY beautiful game especially on high-end rigs.
+ Boss fights are just *chef kiss* for an FPS game.
+ For those that purchase the original Bright Memory, you can get this Infinite for FREE.
+ Over all an amazing game for such a small team.
+ Very stable game. My PC (GTX 1060, i7 8700k, 8gb RAM) can run on 60fps with no frame drop even in combat on medium high setting.
+ Almost bugs free (the only bug/glitch I encountered was on my 2nd run, accidentally yeet myself out of the map cuz I blade-slam on a big enemy).
The Cons:
- A very short game for the price. You can easily finish the game within 2 hours on any difficulty (obviously for those that are not familiar with FPS genre may take a little bit more).
- Main character models and some animations in the cut-scenes are a bit weird/low budget as you can see from screenshots and trailers (is a nitpicking thing and you can totally ignore it).
- Since its quite obvious that the Devs focus mainly on gameplays so there's nothing to write home about for the story also story progression/transition is weird too.
- Driving section is a bit clunky and weird (this exist obviously due to the fact its part of the story progression).
- Music is meh, forgettable.

I mean this game is exactly what it is in the description: A boring 3rd person zombie shooting game with no plot nor anything else. You just mindlessly kill all the zombies in each map. That is it.

If you played this back in 2013-2014, you are legends. And don't tell me otherwise, this game is the Father of clicker/Idle game. Cookie/10 + nostalgia. Please don't be a lamer and use AutoClicker

If you are like myself, one that played and spent hundred of hours on Sims 3, there are many pros and cons i gotta point out (not gonna point out every single one bcuz this review will likely turn into an essay).
Pros:
+ Game loads much much faster than Sims 3 with a cost of more loading screens (pretty quick ones tho).
+ Creating a sim is much better and you can create one that looks very similar to a celebrity or even yourself (maybe a bit exaggerate but you get the point).
+ Your Sim(s) now have moods which add more dynamic to gameplays.
+ Can go to community lots and actually control your sims there, instead of having them disappear in one and come out later.
+ More skills for your sims to master.
+ Sims can now multi-task (eg. eating and drinking and talking with others all at once).
Cons:
- No longer open world. You can control 1 sim in one place at a time. Say you have a sim at home and a sim at gym, you have to swap control between them instead of being able to control both like Sims 3. Which can be less "immersive" and boring for some.
- No more transportation: No cars, motorbike or bicycle for you to use or display them in front of your house since your sims just go out and vanish, reappear in set location.
- Create A Style (or changing color of whatever you desire to) is no longer a thing which can limit your creativity by quite a bit.

Verdict: Those are just some obvious stuffs you will notice once you jump in Sims 4, there definitely are more pros and cons the more you play it. And it is up to your taste to decide which game is better. Of course, with mods you can bring back some stuffs you love from Sims 3 to Sims 4 easily. I would say: If you are into living in a big world, surrounded by many other sims and control many sims in your family at once then stick to Sims 3; if you prefer to design your dream sim (or two) and want to control them only then Sims 4 definitely is for you.

One thing that apply for both games tho, purchase all DLCs will cost you a fortune so grab them on sale or pick out some of your favs and buy it. Have Fun Simming.

TL;DR
If you are a new-comer to The Sims then you gonna love this one. Create your Sim(s) however you like then jump in and build your dream house or use existing ones from the community. Can easily lose track of time from just creating your sim or controlling them.

Detention is a short 2D side-scrolling, point and click with a couple of puzzles Psychological Horror game. There are a few jump-scares but together with a very well designed atmosphere and music/sounds are more than enough to make you feel creep, unsettling and tensed throughout most of the game. Since the game is rather short (about 3 to 4 hrs), it's highly recommend to play in one sitting to avoid forgetting plot points which will make you fail to understand the story or worse, misinterpret it. The story is rather sad/depressing depend on how you view it

rather interesting "game". not much of game elements in this one (like duh, who would purchase this game and expect its an ACTUAL game). enjoyed it nevertheless. some scenes could have been better but its good enough consider its price.
