If you are looking for a nice arpg to waste time in, this is a recommended play. the game though in beta still, has some decent depth for builds and crafting. the monolith system has just been updated and this iteration is better than before, the crafting ui has a cleaner updated look, the build trees are a bit nicer as well.

I will admit this
The game isn't for everyone, as it is time consuming, but the consumption of that time has a purpose.
The purpose:

a. prime parts (which can be sold to other players for plat, which you then can use for prime slots and weapon slots, or buy the primes you want)

b. regular warframe parts which you need to build first, then you need to build the full frame itself at foundry(12h for parts, Full frame is 36 hours to craft, frame blueprint is bought from market for credits or bought from clan tenno lab).

c. regular weapons that are built off of blueprints, blueprints are available from the market which are bought with credits (each weapon blueprint has mastery rank requirements which must be met to build,).

d. credits,resources, and *affinity* farming which are needed for pretty much everything in this game even prime parts.
*note on affinity(this is exp)

But if you are looking for a free game that would consume your time in all sorts of meaningful ways( in video game terms) this is one of the games for you.

I highly recommend it, to anyone and everyone to at least play and try it out.

A great game destroyed by the new blueprint system(if you are a trader) but for players who just want to play the game it's as good as it gets.If you asked me last year by the time the BP system came out, if it was a recommendation, i would have said NO. I've played enough hours at this point to say it's still a recommended play with friends and just for having fun playing car soccer/football.

Though the game says early access, since they are charging money, the game is full release. The loot boxe system is rigged to payers, and early access tag should be removed (imo) if they are charging money.

great fps, if you want to just horse around pick up and play,

great shoot em up/platformer very nostalgic feel. Its fun and worth playing for the heck of it

irony they talk about selling to highest bidder in the video, its exactly what they do for everything in the game. Hiding gameplay items behind a cash shop is bad design while not giving equivalent or near the same kind weapons or equipment for the ingame currency(the leveling process is gimped and its faster to pay to unlock rather than play)

if a pay wall is your first experience with this game then its pretty bad design. instead of easing players into your game and your f2p market system you FORCE it. terrible design decision, that will hurt the "game" in the long run, other than that its a decent game. Oh another thing ive noticed you cant buy anything with the ingame currency, so why is it there ?
