This game is incredible for what it is. But to truly enjoy it for that, you have to approach it differently from most games, and that's a good thing!

OUTBRK has a highly complex, very realistic way of generating storms that uses real atmospheric data from real severe weather events. This game will probably never be playable on maximum graphics and look super real just because of that. You should expect to run some lesser graphics for the clouds to improve performance, the game can be maxed out aside from that (though foliage can drop frames in some areas of the map).

The game does have finite scenarios, but if you're not trying to fully unlock every single vehicle you probably don't need to worry about spreadsheeting out every single scenario. The whole point of the game is to be as genuine to real storm chasing as it can be, and it does a very good job at that if you act as if the storms *are* random and you can learn how to chase them properly. In my opinion, you are ruining your own fun of the game if you're using a scenario guide to help play the game. Watch this fantastic video on how to read radar and, if you want to dive deeper, do some light research on how CAPE and shear affects storm development. There's some tips in the game to help with those things, too!

If you're a weather enthusiast or just want to understand some of the difficulties, ups and downs, and rush that people get from storm chasing, this game is 100% worth the money, even in EA. It's much faster paced than real life, gets you right into the action, and very rarely will you miss a tornado just because a warned cell doesn't produce anything (this game is very lenient about that, which is good). I've thoroughly enjoyed the few hours I've put into it and absolutely will be putting in more in the future.
