I keep going back to this game as every run is different and they keep adding good dlc's which make the game feel more interesting every time. It's a hard learning curve to introduce friends as they feel overwhelmed so maybe a proper tutorial wouldn't hurt.

Their main issue is not being able to tell what items do when it's picked up (should just show a description tbh).

Absolutely recommend!

Lost many features due to the developers changing their vision every 2 seconds. Core game is still there so there's hope but they could really use some introspection within their team and stop seeing their user base and fans as enemies. At this moment not recommended until they change their stubborn and arrogant ways.

I haven't played many cardgames in my life. Mainly because I hate deck building where you have to gather decks or buy them. I also don't like PvP card games, and the majority of those games promote that. Slay the Spire changed the rules for me and I would have never expected to like a cardgame until now. It's great. I keep going back to it, if only to play 1 or 2 games in a couple of weeks. I'm at ascendancy 14 now and it's a good feeling. I suck at it, but thats okay. We learn. And we get all the cards almost instantly to ♥♥♥♥ around with.

A worthy successor, it has gotten even better!

Still holds up after 16 years. What a ride. Was my favorite game when I was a kid, and I still didn't lose that feeling once I started playing again. This ain't nostalgia, this is just a masterpiece.

Takes a while to get into this game. The beginning is hard, don't focus on quests but gather some characters to follow you around. After that it starts getting interesting. I just finished a very, very hard bossfight and winning the fight made my body release so much adrenaline I started shaking, not many games do that to me.

Play this if you're interested in a slow, story driven and pretty hard game. Play this if you liked older RPG's but without the old and outdated DND rules. Don't play this if you're looking for a cinematic adventure like the newer Dragon Age games. If you're starting to get tired, quit the game, because you'll be going through dialogue without reading and that's not the point of this game.

Highly recommended.

Amazing little game. Captured my nostalgia in a couple of seconds and it didnt let go. I'm still trying to grow my first turnips while gathering wild onions and talking to every villager I see. God this game is fantastic!

Would like:

- A bike
- AZERTY options for the ingame arcades

An overwhelmingly great game. F2P, no P2W, great content, infinite fun!
