No idea what all the fuss is about. Game runs good on my hardware. Combat is lots of fun. Cant say much about the story yet.

I decided to refund this game after about 2 hours. The performance ingame is not the best. The enemies are glitching all over the place. The npc companions are not working very well. But the thing that put me off the most is that you need to have a permanent server connection even when playing single player. And if that connection breaks, you get forcibly booted from the game and have to reconnect. In the current state i cannot recommend the game.

Unfortunately i cannot currently recommend this game. It is quite heavily bug ridden. In the first few hours i managed to get it softlocked several times. Forcing me to reload, which is especially annoying in combat situations. Then sometimes the animations bug out. For example shooting without the shooting animation. Wonky selection of the square you want to step on depending on the terrain.

But not everything is negative, the voice acting is great. The story interesting so far. The battle mechanics are complex, even though the overall animations are mediocre.

Can't really recommend the DLC. Even less Base building then the base game. The units kinda feel the same as in the base game, except they are different for the sake of being different. For example a shotgun squad, who can exchange their weapon for grenade launchers. The new maps are in my opinion not good. There is one map, where you cant see enemies due to a smoke screen, yet the enemies can shoot you through the smoke and your guys don't shoot back unless you babysit them. Some maps also have environmental damage. Problem is, the path-finding is as smart as a piece of bread. Unless you babysit them, they will clump up and then just get annihilated from a fireball. The story of the DLC is alright, yet unfinished. In the last mission i was like: "Finally the story starts to get interesting... Wait this was the last mission?". Overall Rating? 4/10

Its fun

Overall a good game. Is it Nioh 3? No. Does it try to be Nioh 3? No. Wo long gives a refreshing mixture of Sekiro and Nioh. Fast paced combat. Lots of parrying. Magic, Martial arts you have it all.

I played it with a controller so i can't speak about the presumed KB + Mouse issues. The game itself ran pretty smooth, only issue was with ambient occlusion with creates a weird flickering. During my playtime i had two crashes, which should not happen but was ok.

Overall Rating for me? 8/10

Unfortunately this game did not turn out to be what i expected. I expected an 4x/rts combination how it was in the old dune, where you conquer regions and play those battles in an RTS Style. This is more a bland 4X games, with resources for the sake of there being resources and bland combat. I would give it a mixed review but steam just allows the YAY or NAY option

Slow Start - First 2 hours feel like tutorial
Not enough level diversity
Price may be a bit to steep for current state of the game

First the executable was not found. Which took me several re-installations to fix. Then the audio was missing. Next when i got to play, there were frame drops and stutters every few seconds. It is unfortunately unplayable for me.
